My friends asked me that "if they are good then why only a few people like them?" comparing underground music to main streams as examples.

All of the music that I love is in underground scene and I don't quite get it either.

Most of the people that listen to lil wayne (ppl bring him up a lot so...) don't even know what he's saying! They listen because their friends listen to it and feel like they'll be outsiders if they don't. How many girls liked lollipop until they knew what the song was really about? I loled at that. Mainstream rap is hollow and has no positive meaning so I avoid it.
