  • @theawakener7 Your a funny guy. Have you read your essay the boat? Talk about high-falutin concepts. I read that quote and hear "Here is my framework to thinking about MA, don't sweat it cuz it's just a concept to make your MA better." I'm glad you get so much out of Bruce's writings. I personally don't find it so heavy. I think it's dumb of you to even care what Faye or Inosanto teach or how. Must mess up your internal story. JKD is now dead. Ooo, dramatic. In its place is you. How nice.

  • @theawakener7 So what is it that you find so offensive about Sifu Faye and in turn Sifu Inosanto? Is it that they are concept practitioners versus "true JKD" practitioners? If that is the case this just became the most boring correspondence I've had in months.

  • @theawakener7 Post a link to your e-books. I'm fascinated. Maybe you can lift this veil.

  • @theawakener7 Sure fella. Just be open. I guess I don't see why your so condescending. It lessens you. I'll take a pass on your boat if that's cool. I'm sure you have trained with some really good folks that have given you a direction that you feel strongly about. These sorts of discussions shouldn't be about who is right or more correct. It should be about progression of ideas, techniques, cultures and self development. Keep growing and learning. Good luck in your training.

  • @theawakener7 Bruce wrote the bible too? Yeah, and I'm not sure what that has to do with Bruce's ideas on incorporating other styles into his art or what Sifu Faye is talking about. JKD is evolution. It's being open to what is useful and making it your own. We learn from Muay Thai, Kali, Jiu Jitsu, Savate, boxing and once we understand the fundamentals of those arts they can become a part of the whole. I would hope you don't limit yourself by believing yourself too much.

  • @theawakener7 Bruce also taught humility and having a open mind. Go read his writings again brother.

  • Awesome Lesson, Very interesting Philosophy. Thanks for te UP.
