  • wow, really? I thought PN uses the rough side. I've heard thats the side most people use as well as PN, so I never tried the other side.

I'll try and see what they use this weekend for the PN worlds. Oh, and very nice lap counter!

  • PN does use the rough / high traction side, we turned it over since this video and run the rough side exclusively now.

Thanks for the complement on the lap counter. We've an original I-Lap system on amb 20 protocol. I-Lap now is amb rc compliant, every transponder has its own id. Gyroz came out after the I-lap system, its transponders are smaller than I-Laps,I consider the I-Lap the better over all system, why, because it works outside (always has) in the bright sunlight, gyroz can't do that.

  • have you tried the rough side of the RCP track or have you only ran the smooth side?

  • we started out on the smooth side, but doing some checking around we found out that PN Racing and most others use the high traction side so we have been running the high traction side for some time now. (yeah we play like the big boys even before they did, we @ X-Z were the first ever to put an IR lap counting system in)

  • who's ugly slow black car is that? haha

  • Yours! ha ha ha ha :P
