No, she is NOT. Cristinas voice is perfect for operas AND operettas as well. That's a very rare gift.

yes, she is...because she obviously hast no idea what she is singing about...her phrasing is inadequate for this sort of music and she emphasizes the wrong words ...

It's not her mother tongue! Further, what does the emphasizing of the words have to do with her rendition? Are you german speaking?

yes, I am a German native speaker, just like you, I suppose. If you're singing in a language other than your mother tongue you should get a coach who can help you with the text...especially for that sort of repertoire. of course she sing's very "nicely", but that's sometimes just not enough. in this piece she fails to convey the very character of it...she more or less transforms it in to a vocalise where words become secondary....inadequate for a great artist like she is !
