This is one of my favourite songs by Kim Carnes. I really wished I had this on cd and I went onto Amazon and looked up Cafe Racers because I know this song is on there. I was disappointed that they really didn't have it just a vinyl copy or cd that was I believe a collectors item and it was too expsensive? Does anyone know where I can get Cafe Racers on cd?

Kim still writes ALOT of music and plays on CD's(instruments) for BIG name artists.....see her name in the liner notes several times.....with a voice like that she should be doing alot more of her own music.

It's like the super huge hit "Bette Davis Eyes" was a jinx. Every song on every one of Kim's subsequent albums was excellent. Just love this and others like "Invisible Hands", "Divided Hearts", "I'll Be Here Where The Heart Is" etc.

Cafe Racers is an exceptional LP. Kim is really an extraordinary talent who was overlooked after BD Eyes. This Grammy Award winner should have won a few more.

Unbelievable! Someone who loves this song as much as I do. Vastly underrated songwriter, underrated album, unique voice, all-star backing band.

Voyeur and Cafe' Racers are the two best Kim Carnes albums hands down. Thank you for reminding me of that fact one more time.
