  • paul di anno the best vocals for maiden ever ,cause he is punk

  • dennis straton ;)

  • @MAIDENCASTLEVANIAN not quite. Order (of current line-up) would be : Steve (1975-), Dave(1976-), Nicko(1982-), Bruce(1981-1993, 1999-), Adrian(1980-1990, 1999-), Janick(1990-).

  • is this the early version of killers that i heard about, where paul made up the lyrics 5 min beforehand backstage?

  • Alternate lyrics.....cool!

  • Clive!!! =D

  • love it

  • I wish I was born earlier, so I could've been at this concert. But i'd have probably been like one of those tards who passed out and had to be carried off, cause of how fucking amazing it was :P

  • Eddie Wants and must kill to four gays and believers

  • fuck they sound wicked here,,

  • DIANO!

  • @MAIDENCASTLEVANIAN

    Totally agree man

  • Paul KICKS ASS !!!

  • I love Maiden w/ Paul and I love Maiden w/ Bruce! I sometimes wonder what Maiden would have been w/ out Bruce. This is just classic!

  • bueno buenisimo lo vi en santiago de chile

  • ehm bruce is not maiden at all, steve is maiden, if he quits the rest would most likely quit too, wen bruce quit they found a new. u cant find a new harris.

  • Sorry. Harris is good, but BRUCE DICKINSON is Iron Maiden!!!

  • @majere880 I don't see him in the video ;)

  • @libernull lol

  • @majere880 steve has always been maiden

  • @majere880 No Hes Not Hes Iron Maiden 2

  • Here's a "radical" theory. Maiden would have gone to greater heights if Steve and Rod's ego's hadn't gotten in the way and allowed some breathing space for Dianno (as well as Stratton). To this day Maiden can't get high up the US charts and for the simple reason that they don't really like dungeons and dragons style Number of the Beast type music. In the US people prefer raw hard rock and metal. Just what Dianno had! He was NOT kicked out, he left because of control freak Steve.

  • @ColtraneTaylor If Steve had held on to Maiden and had more of this punk meets metal style they would have probably have broken in with the American fanbase properly and made better music in the process. Give me the first two albums instead of the ho ho hoooooooo Bruce carols anyday. Shows you the problem all bands and relations face. If you can't reign in your ego's you don't know what you're missing. We're all the poorer for Dianno and Stratton being out of Maiden. Thanks Steve, Rod you nazi's

  • Makes me want to buy a Bass

  • que BUEN TEMA!!!

  • clive burr!

  • Alternate lyrics?!?!...crazy!! Wild stuff,...but Dave's lead is exactly as recorded. Adrian's is just shy of exact, but that's fine...no one expects it to be just like the record. These guys are quality professionals all the way (not just a band w/ a good sound that got lucky).

  • so amazing

  • Great song! I do like both versions!

  • i knew Iron with Di'ano and i still prefer them with tha old style. So...Bruce go fuck yourself. Its not who many disk you sell. You made the group so popular like Madona. And fuck you Harris and all the money take it and stick it up your ass. You brought the fugget Brucina and fucked the group. STill the best album of Iron MAiden. KILLER! pure sound of Maiden.

  • @kostasmiki Dianno is good, but he doesn't even come close to being as good as Bruce XD. You don't like them now because they're popular? I don't know about you but when i see a good band, I want them to get the recognition they deserve.

And don't compare them to Madonna... Maiden became famous because they're great at what they do and got famous through word of mouth, not because of the media.

  • @therestimenow How do we all know that without B.D. they wouldnt be so famous? I met them with Dianno. And after so many years i still prefer the pure hard sound the had. When B.D. came only the 2 albums where AWESOME. After that they lost the spirit and they were just making the same and same sound. Over and over again. As for the Madonna i said it like a popular name. Its not a comparison. Of course some earlier songs i like them. But the sound stay still the same...

  • @kostasmiki I didn't say they wouldn't be famous without Bruce... you said "You made the group popular like Madona" Also, opinions aside, Bruce has a better vocal range than Paul.

BTW: It's ok to prefer older Maiden, but to go on ranting about how Bruce fucked up the band is just wrong. Harris is the bands main songwriter so if you don't like the direction they're going, blame it on him. Personally I like every paul and bruce album. including the new ones.

ps; Powerslave isnt similar to BNW

  • @therestimenow i surely blame Harris for the direction he gave to the band as much for the repeated sound. On an on the same sound. Here is the point someothers like. They like what Harris did. I dont. But why am i saying about Bruce? Because he left the group and when he came back nothing really changed. A singer in his "weight" he shoyld make the difference. U passed "How do we all know that without B.D. they wouldnt be so famous?" in perpous ? Harris is the leader. Br went for a solo but...?

  • @kostasmiki I'm not trying to be mean, but I honestly had a hard time understanding that comment so forgive me if i misunderstood it.

Your saying that when Bruce returned he didn't change Iron Maidens sound? If thats what you meant, I'm going to have to disagree. Fear of the Dark and Brave New World have two completely different sounds.

  • @kostasmiki As for saying that Maidens sound never changed, I disagree.

number of the beast- powerslave had a heavier sound

somewhere in time and 7th son had synthesizers

prayer and fear had a different sound (I think some songs are sung Ian Gillan style.Bruces hero.) But maybe thats just me

factor and virtual had a different singer

and BNW - TFF sound different then the other albums I mentioned. (Longer songs with more tempo changes)

  • @therestimenow one by one friend. Tell me please a heaviest song from Ghengins Khan or Purgatory (which have a rythm someone can say its a hard rock n roll song) or Wrathchild of the two albums you said: number of the beast- powerslave. More Heaviest or wild...

  • @kostasmiki My bad, I should have been more specific. I meant to say number of the beast - powerslave are the heaviest Bruce albums

  • @therestimenow thats true !!! now we are talking. And what happed after Powerslave ? The same old scene. I can understand from the result that Harris prefer Dickinson because B.D binds more with the image and the music the band after so many years is "walking". Nothing new. Fear of the dark could be in Powerslave. I LIKE THE SOUND WHEN THEY WERE YOUNG AMATUER AND WILD and with all the fans who prefer the band with B.D. its ok with me. But nobody can say with P.D'no they couldnt have been on TOP

  • @kostasmiki Dude, I never said Maiden wouldn't be famous with paul. This argument only started because you said Bruce fucked up the band. (which he didn't) Yes, there was a change in their music when they switched from Paul to Bruce, but Maidens sound changes after every 2-3 albums to keep from getting stale.

  • @therestimenow we have an agreementinthefirst in part A. Ok Dickinson didnt fuck up the band till Powerslave and after. Thats my opinion. But Harris couldnt do anything to change the same and same sound. And thats where Dickinson becomes a "sticker". Thats the exact point that Maiden shoyld have done the change. But Harris is one man and he couldnt go futher the sound. So Dickinson stucked with that sound. Maybe its Harris all the fault and i pointed to Dickinson but as i remember he gone away

  • IRON MAIDEN!!!!

  • Better than Metallica.

  • Bruce > Paul > Blaze

  • KILLERS !

  • what happen to the lyrics

  • this is the album that got me hooked on metal.....

  • i wouldnt take the gig if they made me change the lyrics.

  • rainbow's version is different. In the website they tried to make the lyrics.

"YOU'LL NEVER KNOW HOW I CAME TO FORSEE SEE SEE!"

  • i disagree with @pendeivis33

    Steve Harris is Maiden!

  • ..danke für dieses Video...so ist Maiden...so war meine Jugend..:-)

  • CLIVE!!!!

  • Como puede pinchar alguien en no me gusta!!!!merece la muerte!! xD

    UP THE IRONS!!!!

  • where i can find those different Lyrics?

  • PAUL IS AWESOME as Bruce

  • Kick ass. The old stuff rocks!!!

  • gotta hate paul

  • back when maiden were good they should of called it a day years ago instead of churning out shit albums every couple of years

  • Elvis is Alive !!!

  • @DLidersBand no

  • The lyrics Paul sings here are the original Killers lyrics, they changed them before releasing the album. I do prefer the album version lyrics though, it's flawless!

  • Too many people jump in the middle and say one is not better than the other. However they are incorrect. One was better for Iron Maiden, and I think that one prevailed. Di'Anno and Iron Maiden were no where close as successful as Dickenson and Iron Maiden, even though the quality of the songs was the same from Killers to Number of the Beast. Nuff said.

  • Everyone who's complaining about Di'Anno messing up the lyrics,

10 bucks says he was drunk as hell.

  • @ColinMaiden95 Well he probably was, but no this was just an early version of the song. He wrote the lyrics backstage before the show started.

  • @ColinMaiden95 No, Colin. You lost those ten bucks. He sing another lyrics because he wrote them five minutes before the concert, in backstage. In the concert, it says other things, and in the studio record (Wich was recorded a year later) says another things. In my opinion, it sounds better with his lyrics. He wasn't drunk. You are drunk.

  • @mypachomon >implying that I am of the legal drinking age

Trollololol. But yeah. I was just kinda making a joke because Di'Anno was/is an alcoholic. I know the real story, as you just told in the coolest fashion.

  • @ColinMaiden95 Ok, sorry. I wish I am a drunk. lol. The same shit, it sounds better with this lyrics.

  • What the hell did he do to the lyrics?

  • @DesirableCookie He wrote other lyrics five minutes before, in backstage. I imagine they change the lyrics in the studio album. Or maybe he changed them. I don't know.

  • How could anyone, not understand, about the different styles each singer has brought to the band.Damn, just listen to one song from each singer!!!Its the reality that to many people feel that one has to be either better or worse, and they must voice this to whoever gives a damn,This drummer is better than that drummer,or bass player better than that bass player ,etc.Who won best song of the year,or best new artist? LOL,who the fuck cares. It dont mean squat!

  • The main riff is awesome

    Classic Line up

  • Why do most people prefer Bruce?? This guy was the best there ever was! FFS Paul Di'anno all the way - he was MUCH better

  • UP THE IRONS FROM PERU!!!

    MOTHERFUCKER :D

  • *this

  • Harris sucks!

  • @el1ex i hope that was a bad joke

  • @el1ex Hope you go to heaven for that

  • @thefallenone95 xD - Man, o don't care about what the other people think about this post...really...but try to find an interview where paul talks about harris(i don't remenber where i saw it)...if you see his point, you will not apreciate harris too... ;)

  • @el1ex when you compose such a good songs , and play bass like him lets say who suck and who doesn't

he is all maiden , maiden without the compositions of harris will no be maiden

  • @0obacho0 i have the right to think that the diano's cpositions are better

    don't you agree?

  • Maiden needs more album like this

  • oh by the way i love all maiden. the tallent soars. all singers, all players up the irons.

  • The true ingredient to Bruce Dickenson's successful career is to stay sobered from drugs and alcohol; and that's where Paul Di' Anno's downfall is...He's all fat and balded, going around playing with a bunch of young Japenese cover band members!!!

  • @grumpypant Fucking hater..

  • To the people who think Paul didnt move around as much on stage, there is an explanation for that in Paul's autobiography. He said while this was being recorded someone played a prank on him, and filled his boots with shaving cream. So he was pretty much walking around like that. and for other shows, its because you really dont get a lot of space on a stage in a bar/pub, very difficult to move around with 5 people on stage in a crowded pub/bar

  • @TheDannyhyde

Dude, these were the actual lyrics at that time. These are the original lyrics of Killers. They were simply changed for the album version 'cause nobody liked them.

  • @Panagis1981 oh well igot used to thelyrics on the album and they were cool. and made sense. the lyrics here didnt work for me sorry. sounded a bit like he was making them up. i still love the vid and song. i sang this song live so i had to use the lyrics from them album. no disresprect please keep polsting vids. iwill have some original stuff soon, then you can cut it to piece s ol. mrhyde or harbinger two bands im in. thanx. danny hyde.

  • WTF With the lyrics ????

  • @BLITZKRIEGMANIAC ya i kno wtf??

  • @BLITZKRIEGMANIAC paul di'anno wrote new lyrics just for this show before they got up on stage:)

  • @MaidenOfTheMaidens It was not on this show.

  • @BLITZKRIEGMANIAC - Old skool lyrics...listen to early versions of War Pigs by Sabbath...TOTALLY different.

  • @BLITZKRIEGMANIAC they changed them but im not sure when

  • @BLITZKRIEGMANIAC Killers was originally an instrumental, Paul made up the lyrics for this gig, then Steve re-wrote them for the album.

  • top live !!!

  • paul was amazing

  • What the hell with lyrics??? They are completely different from the original.

  • Personally, Paul is my favorite. He is a true heavy metal vocalist in my eyes, and Bruce is a bit operatic for my taste. Bruce has a much better stage presence though, and I really think that's one of the main reason Iron Maiden is loved so much, even though musically, I like their older stuff a bit more. But thats very hard to say you know, Maiden have done some stunning things, with both vocalists.

    Either way, UP THE IRONS!

  • My first taste of Heavy?Death? Metal? in the making? Late 70's Paul Di Anno could scream so sweetly. heh heh eh.Loved it as a kid.

  • i love both paul and bruce they are both GREAT singers but seriously bruce cant do the screams in this song.. so for this song i think paul is a better performer.. but i say again BOTH SINGERS ARE GREAT!

  • PAUL DID GREAT IN THIS. BRUCE IS AMAZING TO BUT HE CANT DO TH SCREAMS IN THIS LIKE PAUL DID.

  • ty for the 5 minutes of awesomeness, this is priceless, & i'm speechless...

  • i see these are not the stock vocals, but who cares.

  • damn 1981...

  • La goldtop de adrian smith ♥ se me cae la baba

Lady GaGa you say - I say Jimi Hendrix

Justin thimberlake you say - I say Iron Maiden

you say Hanna? Montana - I scream heavy metal

92% of teenagers have turned to hip-hop and pop, if you are part of the 8%

copy this message and passed to another video. Do not let the spirit of rock DIE!

  • Paul is the best!!!

  • bruce dickinson is actualy my favorite singer but i like iron maiden and killers as much as any of their albums! pauls voice is unqiue and totaly metal! UP THE IRONS!

  • The thing is, Paul's not drunk, it's that the songs on Killers and Iron Maiden weren't written specifically for the albums, it was stuff that they'd been playing for years. So there's more than likely alot of raw versions of songs that were recorded, lyrically and instrumentally. Steve probably revised the lyrics to Killers before the album was to be recorded.

  • my god! paul dianno! youre the best man!

Bruce D, youre god but.... Paul its Paul!

  • is it just me or are the words all different

  • @americanstriking yeah, this was before the album released

  • Does anyone know the lyrics to this version of Killers?

  • killers for me was their best album!!

  • the Lyrics are different ;) LOL

thanks for Posting.... keep the rock !

  • he wrote the lyrics backstage before the gig :)

  • Too many people say Dianno is better than Dickenson and vice versa but I feel that its difficult to make a statement like that. Dickenson and Dianno have very different singing styles, the former have an operatic voice and the latter a more punk/hardcore voice. They are DIFFERENT, not better than the other.

  • the difference, though, is that Dianno has an awesome punk voice. Dickenson has a shitty, opera-wannabe voice. his voice sounds like someone gave Rob Halford a vasectomy then hit him in the head a few times with something really heavy. Or axl rose with a sore throat. (to clarify: Halford>>>>>>>Dickenson>Rose)

  • @EffinSkeletor and can you use that "shitty opera wannabe voice" shithead?

  • @EffinSkeletor really? cause halford sucks pretty fucking bad live.. at least dickinson can stay constant, i mean agreed he can't hit as high as halford but dickinson is much better of a frontman and has better sustain

  • @mchlbarat76 i agree with you, too many people think that Dickinson is better than Dianno but what the people is not able to understand is that they have a different styles. For me both are awesome singers.

  • @mchlbarat76 This exactly.

  • this song gets in your head and won't go away, great vocal

  • D'Anno--menacing, dominating. In short, KILLER.

  • Dianno is back in the US for the first time in 17 years!

  • Paul le pone todo el sentimiento por eso es el mejor con su estupenda voz simplemente embruja y vuelve fan a cualquiera.

  • wow u guys make me feel old. i'm not from this generation of music but I know my iron maiden history. he wasn't drunk this is actually the very first version and first performance of this song. they haven't even recorded the killers album yet.

  • divinegar is completely right , as you can see in the back , the picture is the artwork from the first album so Killers hadn't been released yet , you can call this the "demo" version , so lyrics were a "test"

  • this song are made for the voice of di anno, dont like me the version with dickinson

  • I hate hearing Dickinson sing any Dianno era song. Maiden rocked past the few albums but they would never h
