  • Wish I knew where to save this...

  • thats sounds sooooo much better than toontrack

  • Sounds awesome! Thanks a lot for putting this online! Much appreciated.

  • Pretty friggin amazing sounding! Well done, I really like this setup. :)

    Yo!

  • where do u save the file?

  • Excelente preset!!!! FELICITACIONES POR ESA CONFIGURACION!

    Muchas gracias

  • I am a guitar/bass player and have no drumming experience what so ever. Does XLN Audio allow me to make drum tracks for my demo's?

  • @Drogynn Yeah! its fuckin great if you know how to use it. whats being used here is XLN Audio's "Addictive Drummer" but its only a VSTi, meaning it has to have a host program to run. Like I use Reaper, its great and its cheap!

  • thanks a lot !!!!

  • I hate how they mapped the midi. When i import a drums midi file from guitar pro (to make a backing track), i have to spend another 5 minutes to find the right sounds.

  • @nirvanafrik Hey, what you can do is import them, go to AD and change the drum map so everything is the way it sounds in Guitar Pro.

  • @ShroudMachine The thing is, that most drum plugins i used had a normal setting for drums. i'll try to check out how it works.

  • can i download this for free?

  • @muziknewbie no you have to pay 5$ via paypal before clicking the link :P

  • @Amorphous333 hahaha

  • Very good tone, sir. Today we have a many kind of ADpaks, included for metal performances. But this your "old" preset is great as any metal preset in the Metal ADpak. Thanks so much for share your experience.

  • hey dude thats a GREAT SOUND out there!! but i need some help because when i try to import the preset a sign says: error loading preset header not found what can i do?

  • Really Nice for Addictive !! I use BFD 2 but that was really nice! :)

  • Yes I just pick up Addictive Drums To Add To My Recording Studio . I'm having funn

  • The bassdrum is awful...just like in every second modern production..

  • awesome!!!!!! I love..... please can you give me this file's project????? haha. good job. a took your set.

  • hey dude, this kit is awesome, though I'm not a metal-fan, I love you snare!! 1 problem, I can't manage to open up the preset.. could you please send me a screenshot of your snaresetting?

  • Sounds meaty. I like it.

  • newbie alert: or do you have to record and sequence with another software?

    any help would be awsome!

  • @72dew Yes you do. This program is a DAW plugin, so it needs a host. You can use it in any recording software.

  • @filppilp2 thanks a ton:)

  • @72dew np

  • sounds a bit electronic but good playing

  • holy shit this kills ezdrummer

  • can you add another tom? and china? or are you limited to use this 11 pieces?

  • @BloodyKing13 you are limited to these pieces ... but you can replace a cymbal by a china

  • @Amorphous333 if you want bigger sets, you should use "EZdrummer" or better "superior drummer 2.0"

  • @dpfeifer10 yes you can

  • Dude! Brootal!! how did you get that punchy kick sound??

  • Beast .

  • is this a loop from AD or did you create a midi urself? sounds killer! could you upload that midi??

  • how to record priset beats in cubase ?

  • how i can put your config?????

  • @dpfeifer10 yes it possible i have it myself soo its completely possible (on FLstudio)

  • Does Cubase 5 come with it's own drum sampler?

  • so could i plug my electric kit into midi n play the sounds ?

  • kick isnt punchy enough and the snare is weeeeeakkkkkkk.

  • Virtual drums sound so real, alot less fuss to set up than an acoustic drum set there are even some nice sounding freeware drum vsts.

  • ill make a song to this and send it back???.... wanna? lol

  • amazing snare!

  • Wow dude sounds insanly good. Way way way better then EZDrummer. Imo.

  • 0:32 - 0:40 is my favorite part.

  • @dpfeifer10 I don't know FL studio but I use it with magix music maker as a vst.

  • Sounds so beast.

  • fucking epic man, thanks for this. these sounds aren't too far off from the big league libraries like SSD and superior 2.0

  • I dropped this right onto my demo over my old kit, detuned the toms and snare a little bit and changed a cymbal and it was just perfect. The kick is just amazing. I couldn't get that no matter how hard I tried. Thank you.

  • Where can i download this ? anyone ? would be appreciated

  • wooow sexy

  • This demo is worthless without music along with it!

  • nice config!!!!!

    thx

    (Y)

  • very nice dude!

  • Thanks man, this is very generous :)

    METAAAAL \m/

  • what shall I do with "Metal-Kit.htm" .htm???!

  • Comment removed

  • are u using the metal expansion??

  • Kick ass preset... i like it dude...

  • Addictive drums is the best drumming software ever. I tried others, they all did not sound as real as AD

  • :O awsome thts all i can say

  • @dpfeifer10 yea u can i use fl studio and i use AD :D its so awsome

  • that was pretty fuckin sick, reminds me of dfh

  • sound good man....the snares a bit too loud though

  • Yeah, I downloaded this kit and tweaked it a bit. I'm new to AD and now I don't have to fuck around trying to get that nice metal sound. Let me know if you wanna hear the song I used it on.

  • I used this preset on the Escape The Fate album.

  • @xxx4rcade which album?

  • @Amorphous333 Escape The Fate is a band from Las Vegas, NV. He says that he used that preset on the album of these guys. I see now how talented are these guys, but I don't believe in what he said.

  • @xxx4rcade show me a song then ;)

  • @Amorphous333 I'll send you in a message

But this band is going commercial. It's a shame, because they are good in their first CD, with the former vocalist Ronnie Radke.

I hope you like, I've found out that these drums are very similar with yours.

I have to tell you that the drums sounds really fantastic! But I have to do drums with Addictive Drums and Cymbals with EZDrummer, I do the drums with Guitar Pro and I can't add cymbals with AD.

  • @bailonix I don't know what you meant, but it's a complete different drumset they use. it has nothing to do with me or AD.

  • @Amorphous333 I know, but anyways your metal config rules ;D

  • can you send me this preset by email?

    this link is not good.:D

  • Very nice Addictive Drums! Unfortunately we do not find the serial or keygen ... : (

  • yes you can

  • @dpfeifer10

It works as a VSTi on Reaper, I assume it works fine with FL Studio too.

  • @dpfeifer10 yeah man, that's exactly what I do! ;D AD is the shit

  • i use ez drummer with drum kit from hell but hell this is the cleanest stuff i ve heard:s im buying this right fucking now!!!

  • i like the drums except for the toms, they sound really artificial. but other than that good job

btw im diggin the bass click, sounds beasty

  • Can you make MIDI Drums on guitar pro 5 and then run it through AD?

  • how do I get your preset to work???? I have already downloaded it!!!

  • yes I think so..

  • do you program them by clicking every beat or through a midi controller or just assigning your typing keyboard as the controller through midiyoke ?

Can i program drums by using a yamaha keyboard(casio) which has a USB option?

  • I do both but yes you can record it via your midikeyboard ;)

  • i like the snare and bass drum but thos toms sound a little bit, artificial. but thats just my opinion, dam fine job tho!

  • Very good! I'd love to hear a little bit reverb though.

    Thumbs up mate

  • Sounds great brother!

  • hey man sweet settings. the download doesnt work though, too bad!

  • how difficult is it to get to the point where i can create these drum paterns?

  • depents on where you're right now ;) its some work but everyone could do it after a while ;)

  • @themetalman92 i mean that more difficult is to understand your question:)

  • lmao your using some great mics :D just fucking with you. Its intense. Im going to buy one of these drumming softwares im just a bit confused how you play them

  • holy shit that was awsome

  • Comment removed

  • I vote for lower tuning of the snare and maybe give it that gated reverb sound. Otherwise the sounds are great.

  • well that was kind of standartsound of the snare I fixed that later ..

  • @mikosoft

I was just about to say the same thing

  • Could you share your midi map. to load in Cubase and match the sound ,, Thank U..

  • sry I have non I use the pianoview, but I think there is one on the homepage of toontrack

  • do you know how to remap addictive drums

  • @freestylefilmsinc remapping the midi itself could be ways better. Just download midifile mapper.. It could auto map the midi for it to be able to play properly in Addictive Drums, worked for me.. ^_^

  • sounds pretty good man, check my vids, I've recorded some songs using a similar configuration

  • can I use EZ drummer to place those midis into cubase to create a drum track, than delete the EZ VST and insert AD VST to process those midis? I really like the sound of AD better, but the interface of EZ is much easier in order to create tracks.

  • im not sure i understand your question fully but you dont do MIDI with EZ or AD...you can edit the midi however you want inside of cubase and then assign either EZ or AD to that track, or tracks if you have the kick on one, the snare on another, etc etc...

  • how do you make loops with this? i have the plug in for fl studio 9 and it wont make me make loops lol

  • with a midi editor

  • Sounds sick mate!

  • wwhat should i use? superior, addictive or EZ

  • ez: many drums, easy, not that realistic

addictive: not really hard to use, quite realistic, good recording

superior: complex, not for beginners, good sounds, many drums, perfect recording

  • try steven slate drums, might put that ahead of the others if you do, althoguh this sounds awesome as well.

  • Is it possible to use EZ and Superior with a midi keyboard controller? I've been using AD for a while but i feel the drums cannot cut through the mix, and thought it'd be good to change. Thanks in advance!

  • ofc u can! just plug in a usb keyboard and ur set

  • definately stick with addictive!!!!

  • Are you using an electronic kit with addictive drums?

  • no, have none yet

  • the download link works perfect!

i'm using it well:) thanks man!

  • wow sounds great

  • Good preset, but the download link seems to be broken, plese upload it to same serious server buddy ;)

  • I'm very sorry, but it seems that it got lost after the last systemrestore :/ maybe anyone here could upload it again??

  • dude i love addictive drums, and your metal config!

but does anyone know how to play double bass with a midi keyboard? i have the edirol pcr-300. So that's a smaller version.

  • I'am using AD with Cakewalk Sonar and I made my custom drummap for 2 addictive drums instead one. So I opened 2 AD at the same time and I can play two crosses and I tuned the 2nd cross a little different and it sounds amazing. With this way you can add extra cymbals, rides and chinas as well.

  • Dude! I love you so much OMG!!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!

I can't wait to download your metal config, it sounds great!

  • no prob :D

  • i was told on the AD forums that there's no double kick in this software. how on earth are you doing this?

  • well, do you need 2 bassdrums to get a doublebasssound in a real kit? no, so just play the doublebass on one drum, no problem :)

  • damn...those kicks sound amazing, is there any way to import them into ezdrummer?

  • Yes, there's a way! Buy Addictive Drums ...

  • I downloaded the demo version of Addictive Drums. I use Cubase on my Mac but when I put the VST into the VST audio folder, it doesn't show up in the inserts Menu in Cubase! Can someone please help me?

  • i d say the addictive drums had a more authentic sound vs ez drmr ,but does it have the capabillity to create rediculouslly fast and technical stuff suitable for deathmetal? could someone make a demo for technical deathmetal and post it? thanx.

  • Check out the drums me and my friend programed for our bands songs.... it sounds ok.... Im gonna get Superior Drummer 2.0 soon though lol...

  • WHAT THE FUCK, the KICKs sound DAMN GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!

  • the bass sounds sooo good :D:D

  • Nice! Thanks for the preset! Good job!!

  • how much is addictive drums and can you get it for pc or is it only for mac?

  • You can get it on pc, and it's about € 200 here in Belgium.

  • what do u prefer...

AD or SD 2 along with Metal Doundry?

  • I think you can do really great things with AD, but so I have both programs I prefer SD2+MF

  • Yeah... It's more robust program i think... In my country is real hard to get those programs... But i'll try to import it... If can't... Rip off... I'm sorry you gotta make the music no matter what...

  • Why? I'm not able to decide over these both options and I'm going crazy about it what is it that you like more in SD2. Is it easier to write with SD2? (or write at all because I'm currently programming my drums through guitar pro).

  • Nice! Can you send me the config file? I'd like to try it

  • Invalid download link

  • has been updated! :)

  • Thanx!! ;)

  • Thank you so much! I always wanted my kick to sound like yours. now i know how to make it sound like that!

  • np :) it was the same with me but after a long time I finally got my dreamsound^^

  • can someone tell me where can i download this program for free (addictive drums).. yeah i bought the ez drummer and i want this but i dont have the money please please

  • sweet i hope to get this program soon, been using acoustica beatcraft. i like how you can make your own beats on acoustica but im not liking the sound anymore

  • lol this isnt native instruments it is xln audio anyways nice preset though

  • oh^^ you're right, I changed it

  • nice, what bass drum is that?

  • its the Tama Starclassic 22" kickdrum with Comp & EQ
