I didn't know about Esperanza until now at the academy and I am very impress with her voice, she is so young to have such mature and wonderful strong voice. Why would Esperanza do a duet with someone whose voice is so similar to her own? The beauty of vocal duets is the contrast of timbres and you can't tell when it's one or the other. Pity. Anyway, a nice song and and a great video.

I wonder how many people can appreciate the difficulty of playing different notes from what you sing and also playing different rhythms from the rhythms of your vocals. This lady has phenomenal independence between her singing and her playing. This isn't the same as mechanically strumming some chords on your acoustic guitar while you croon a simple song.
