simple, he has a duplicate of the card and presets it in a beer bottle then places it near the spectators. He does what is know as a "Classical force" to get the spectator to pick the card that is the same as the one in the beer bottle, when the spectator is asked to put the card back in the deck criss simply palms it and then the card is revealed in the beer bottle. MAGIC..
