  • friends and family just laugh because my husband was adamant about designing a chef's kitchen but in the end there older appliances are still in working condition.

  • shelves beneath. We have to buy ice at out local gas station to put in our fridge. We only keep limited food so it is an inconvenience to go to the grocery store several times a week. Then the mother board in our beer meiser broke and we lost a half barrel of beer. When we called Viking our fridge was under someone else's name in a different state and they cant find the warranty registrations from all of the other appliances (dishwasher, microwave drawer, range, wine cooler, etc) Our (cont)

  • Over the last 1 13/4 years we had to have our Viking Fridge, Range Hood, and Beer meiser serviced. The fridge had problems with the ice maker all 3 times (we lost all of our meats which we purchase from a private vendor who sells to Lugers in New York- we were on a waiting list for the cow for years), then one day it sounded like a jet was landing in our kitchen and within an hour we heard a crash. The top door shelf on the fridge side fell on to the shelf below and smashed all three (cont)

  • I have the exact same refrigerator shown in this video, and it has been the absolute worst decision for my family. Although it is expensive and nice looking, it's needed numerous repairs, some not covered by the warranty. It takes a week or more for the repairmen to show up when a problem arises, and they usually cancel the day they're supposed to arrive. Their service is incredibly insufficient and incredibly unreliable. I DO NOT recommend a viking fridge for anyone seeking a working product.

  • The "switch" itself did not fail. This failure is the result of the door switch paddle riding over the door stop link. This is an unfortunate failure but your machine is most likely out of warranty. Have some personal responsibility. The manufacturer warranty is clearly stated in your owners manual. I am amazed at people like you always crying about things breaking. BTW there is a recall on that hinge (not for light switch failure) which the manufacturer will cover.

  • lulz i'm in ur refrigeratorz messin wit ur switchez
