  • Are these all of one farmer or is it a contractor that comes to do the work for the farmer ?

  • how many acres do you cover?

  • Unbelievable!

  • are you organic

  • great tractors we use 5 cat challengers and 3 case steigers when planting in south queensland great tractors but it takes a while to plant and plough our paddocks thats for sure

  • If people like this didn't "hog" so much land, many other younger people could have a chance to farm.this is overkill-greed!

  • @Skunkwerks101 this could be a bunch of smaller farmers that combined calling it a co-op or company

  • @nchayfarmer i doubt it some lone owner with a bunch of low paid workers

  • @canadamonster but you do not know btw theres a plenty of farms out there that are called company farms but there backbones are family check into it yes there is a couple out there that are major companies with no ties that hog up land but hey somebody has to do it I had a chance to work for a company in canada a little while back they ran like 10 combines on the custom harvest and 10 at there farm shoulda took that job now I am back where I started with 2 combines and a small farm

  • @nchayfarmer hogs

  • @canadamonster lol I am proud to live on a farm to hog up everything we tend to around 3,000 acres we do it with 3 head most of the time and grow a small 110 acres of tobacco some around here tend 950 acres of tobacco you telling me you dont like somone hoggin up some wheat land hahahahahaa its easy to hog up 20 dollar land try renting land for 130 bucks and acre

  • @nchayfarmer i ment big 20 000 acre farms

  • @canadamonster theres a company farm here that has 160,000 acres in the north east corner of nc I dont know who owns it now it was started by a italian company its the open grounds farm whats 20,000 acres anymore man if the little man would get off his ass and pay more he could get more land

  • @nchayfarmer i would like to see a 2000 acre per person limit world wide

  • @canadamonster yeah you would get alot of bullshit farmers living off of the state tryin to make a living just because you dont have it dont hate it

  • @nchayfarmer but i do have it

  • @canadamonster then how can you preach against it

  • @nchayfarmer because he clearly wants to see more small family farms in canada, i grew up on a 12,000 acre farm, its to much for 1 family to manage. i know people in ontario that only have a few hundred and make a nice comfortable living, its not all about acreage.

  • never met a farmer who wasn't greedy yet... this video gives more evidence

  • awesome set up. do you live in alberta? cause i've never seen you guys.

  • Yup we're from alberta, based around the Lethbridge area.

  • cool, i live up near airdrie.

  • is this hengerers outfit?

  • No its Serfas Farms

  • oh, are these the guys with the 14 combines?

  • no we don't usually run that many. I'm sure Hengerer has that many or more and B&D Walters has at least that, they are both in this area also.

  • yeah, hengerer has 14 or so and there somewhere in alberta so i thought that might be you.

  • hengerer runs 12 drills i believe...

  • really impressive line up! Who's outfit is that? How many HA did you cover?

  • We cover about 34 000 acres in southern Alberta, Canada

  • how are you all the same seeding depth

  • Lots of crawling around on the ground checking depth, proper adjustments, and good equipment.

  • Do you guys only use the same machines? or do you mixand match a bit? We only have 3 outfits, is hard enough trying to keep parts etc for a ouple of brands! What type of bar is your seeders behind? How does it go?

  • Is that a Cornish flag on the drill on the right hand side right at the end?

  • i'd say it looks swedish but i don't know

  • Its a Swedish flag.

  • Mighty video, impressive!!! Good music......1st class

  • And they say there is no money in farming.I do admit,I am jealous. Nice vid

  • nice video.. its awesome... seriously.. btw nice german flag ... ;-)

  • Comment removed

  • Yes its Serfas farms on the Blood reserve. No I don't think I got Leon in there. And those "nice" flexi-coil drills have been traded in for good Bourgaults.

  • all a got to say that thry is a lot of mony out there in the fleid

  • Awesome! Just simply Awesome! Its amazing how different you guys farm up there from how we are in the midwest.

  • Nice job Kevin. I've probably watched this 25 times.

  • very nice, here in ontario we are fairly big and we have 1 35' drill. how fast are you going
