  • I'm a 14 teen year old girl in a boys body this video makes me realize that I'm not alone tyvm :)

  • in the bible its called sin

  • more than words

  • this made me cry

  • Thankyou.... heartfelt and well done

    ~Sarah

  • this is a wonderful video am glad its here. its also sad to i think. me i am a none op transexual female who is also bisexual. am glad video's like this out here. there is so much hate ignornce bigotry transphobia homophobia biphobia in this world that its nice to see people posting stuff like this on the web

  • for some transgender kids they will tryed to fit in so much that they will hide their ture selfs from everyone and then later in 16-20 it will come back to them it is better to trans when your young but some dont understand their transgendered even later in life. i know more then ten people who transed after the age of 40 or 50. best of luck love the vid.

  • good job Satan

  • thnkyou for this video only god!!and my mother they know what hapen,,,,,,,no one els this world

  • Good video, It makes one think about the reality about sexual prefrence/Identity.

I don't see a huge difference between "pref and orient".

People are people no mater where we are

  • i had a good coment for the last video but i dont want to go back so i'll just leave it here "whei wong is way wrong" get it

  • Hm, Im a 22 year old male and can only remember back to when i was 4 a boy that was gender variant and teasing him. I didnt know what I was doing cause I was so young but I never even really gave it much though now that Im older either until I just happened to run across this video today while Im at work surfing youtube and OTEP videos listening to music. Weird. I definitely have a new respect towards people who deal with this...

  • I wish these kids every success.

I knew I was different when I was little, in the 1960s. My body was different from my sisters', and I didn't know why, or what it meant. I was bewildered.

By my teens I knew exactly what was going on. Just in time for my first puberty. :-(

By the time I was 20 I couldn't stand it any more. I started seeing a therapist. I'll be 50 next year. I've been a woman all my adult life, and wouldn't have it any other way.

  • The children's bill of rights is excellent "food for thought". Thank you to all those who contributed to it's production ...for sharing their thoughts. I hope you succeed in helping both children and parents of children with gender identity struggles.

  • @FinalJustice: there are medications to help with delusional and superiority complexes...check em out..who knows? maybe a human can emerge from the shitty pile of fail that is you. lulz

  • is mankind disqualifying itself ?

  • I want cry, when I see this video...

  • @TannygirlNatasha Indeed ! It´s incredibly beautiful and deep !!!!

  • @TBTrojan ok bug im a 17 year old girl tell me your story and i promise ill be the one to listen

  • this video made me happy to know that there's more transgenders like me out there ^.^

  • what song is this? its beautiful

  • I am one of those transgender kids...I'm 13,I'm a man stuck inside a woman's body. If you wanna hear my story, then ask me

  • @TBTrojan I am, too. I'm 12. Please tell me your story. I can tell you mine.

  • @TBTrojan I am, too... I'm a boy, but I was born a girl...Let's talk.

  • @TBTrojan Huh. Me too. Small, the world is.

  • I thank you Neogal for this video... I have a Loved one who was "diagnosed" and I am using that term very loosely... as transgendered at birth... It almost destroyed her... but the determination to thrive and live her purpose has made her a beautifully wise soul <3 A true Rinpoche! Bless you for your work and your passion Neogal ^*^ Namaste from my heart <3

  • @sicko1970 Umm.... actually, you're wrong biologically, scientifically, physiologically, sociologically, psychologically and well... let's just stop there.

Gay men are MEN (football players, soldiers, wrestlers, hairstylists, nurses, etc) and Lesbians are WOMEN (mechanics, truck drivers, athletes, models, hairstylists, nurses, doctors, etc.) In fact... if Gay men weren't MEN and didn't see themselves that way then umm... they would NOT be gay. That's kind of a "duh" moment for you, I'm sure.

  • Actually, you're wrong again, Beth. LESBIANS are women AND MEN who are natives of the island of Lesbos, which is part of Greece. Therefore, homofems have no right or entitlement to such a terminology which is GEOGRAPHICAL. Furthermore, it is SEXIST to call homofems Lesbian when they are no more "gay" than their male counterparts. And by the way, if homosexual men and women DID acknowledge that they are indeed men and women, why are they trying so hard to replace the opposite gender? --FJ
  • @FinalJusticeMovement More (or less) medication may be in order for you. Consult your physician.

  • There is no judgement here -- just truth.

There's no need for medication -- I'm fine.

If you think you can educate me...try and teach me.

    --The Final Justice

  • @Neogal "Medication" does not heal or make a difference to the soul! Medication is not the answer to life, though it may complicate or destroy it. This country is addicted to the idea that a pill can take care of everything! How is the strength of your character? Are you on meds?

  • @MyFaceBurns You seem to be a very disturbed person. I hope you get some help before you hurt yourself or someone else. Life is too short to spend time hating other people.

  • who would want to change themselves?

  • @paigehofstad They are not "changing themselves", since "who we are" lies between our ears, not our legs. They are, in some cases, bringing their bodies into congruence with their authentic and true gender identity.

  • what's the music ?

  • If I dress up as a duck will they accept me as a duck? that would be disrespectful to ducks. to call a man who dresses up as a woman a woman is disrespectful to women. If I pay an unethical doctor to surgically make me appear as a duck does that make me a duck? do i have duckie rights? can i marry a duck and adopt human children? and can i raise them to be ducks? and to believe that duck-human marriage is not acceptable but right? What a confusing world we are creating for our children.

  • @kightchill you have a point here its called yoiur a jackass all the way

  • alot of these are a bunch of random pictures you found

  • bless these people they are brave im not transgender but i am against all the abuse society give them it's not fair they can't be who they are without people calling them gay and stuff makes me cry seing how much hatred is in this world

  • I'm not trans, but I have transgender friends, and they're awesome no matter what gender. :D

  • FIRST OFF. I AM A GIRL AND IM TOMBOY -BEING A GIRL THATS NOT ALL PINK AND SHIT DOESNT MAKE YOU TRANSGENDER. I HATE THE COLOR PINK AND all that shit. My fav color is Blue actually i am straight and u know what this video is pure nonsense so seriously get a life!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Music24983 Glad that all works for you. But you may have noticed by this time (depending on your age) what works for you doesn't necessarily work for everyone else. Just sayin'....

  • @Music24983 look the facts are we all have are likes and dislikes but who were are is a reflection of the way we present areselves to the world not always having parts or not having certain parts blue yellow gold pink what ever this is something of colour black white brown yellow or anything in between makes us all human and should be accepted as so

  • i have nothing against homosexual people but seriously i think the whole idea of transgender children is wrong and perverded, they should decide what they want to do when they turn 18, dont take away parent's rights to raize their child how they want. i wont except any comments,so dont waste your time trying to convince me,i have nothing against homosexual people,i just think is very wrong to let inocent children do these things at such a young age, they dont know what they want at those ages.

  • @DJALIENPHANTOM By the time they have turned 18, significant damage may have been done to their bodies and their self-esteem by the changes of puberty. And when you say that kids "dont (sic) know what they want at those ages", do you mean that we should take NOTHING seriously from a child who is young? And how do we know "what" is important to listen to, and what we should just ignore?

Children are NOT empty databases to be filled with only the information that YOU think matters. They're people

  • @Neogal We as adults know that curiocity is only something misterious and yet interesting at times, but children dont know curiocity from reality at a 90% of the time, for the world they live in is still a mistery waiting to be discovered as they grow and go threw life as we know it, how do we know if this sudden choice of life wont be a choice they'll regret in their adulthood. im sure at least 40% of these children are just curious about the opposite sex.

  • @DJALIENPHANTOM if you post something expect a reply this is not a choice it is who were are and is muuch harder as we get older and should be dicussed and not shamed away they did this eith the homosexuals in the past and other groups now its are time to be heard and excepted

  • @DJALIENPHANTOM Ignorance reigns in the minds of the weak! YOU are weak!

  • It is so heartwarming to see transgender children finally being taken seriously, instead of making them wait until adulthood. Hopefully, their hurt will be greatly diminished.

  • wow that was the most touching and inspiering thing ive ever seen about transgendered children + adults

  • thank you for posting this

    tay

  • How is that not child abuse?

  • @FollowMyDamnedLaws It's not child abuse because the children, almost without exception, are happier, healthier, more well adjusted and better prepared to face life if their true gender identity is respected and supported.

  • Is there any research to back up point 5?

It is a bit naive to say that the environment a child grows up in doesn't influence their views on gender roles and social expectations.

  • The Universal Declaration of Human Rights

  • Know anyone denied their right to develop?

  • Know anyone denied their right to free expression?

  • That is very correct. Transgender people can also be gay or lesbian just like non-trans people can. There is no one way to be trans.

  • very well done, I am transgender, and I am glad that there are people that understand, despite all the bigotry and ignorance.

  • Neogal i posted a compliment regarding this video a week ago ....I no longer see it , i hope

i was not misunderstood. I feel you are doing

a GREAT service for all concerened. Bless You!!

  • Great video.. Nell

  • Bless you Neogal a wonderful and thought

provoking video. Mabye the world will understand one day........mabye one day.

  • every time I see this it makes me want to cry. So well done and so powerful; especially showing all the trans people in different and successful professions - so important ....and no; they won't be on Springer

  • This looks like pseudo research and social engineering no offence

  • @jaywalk2009 None taken. Though you're wrong on both counts.

  • @jaywalk2009 None taken... and for what it's worth, you're wrong on both counts.

  • aww i love this thank you guys 4 sharing your stories very calm mothers you are and seem very nice thank you =)

  • ohhh T_T this video really touches my heart..

i was a transgendered child also since i am kinder. being what we are right now is not our fault no our mom and dad's fault we just simply choose this because this kind of life makes us happy and worthy please dont just judge us because of our sexuality.. T_T

  • Im not sure of anything when it comes to the welfare of children in the united states, But without the US being a signatory to the united nations convention on the rights of the the child, could this have any bearing on what a child with transgender issues may or may not have in regards to rights in the US?

I have no doubth there is a steep and long road ahead and with such good people out there, maybe more children will have the help for them that i never had when i was a child!

  • I really like the piano music in this vid. Can you tell me who wrote this piece?

  • wow im scared..... if my 1st girl in bed is a boy IMMA O_O

  • @HInataDIESYAY Replace your fear with understanding and seeing the person for who they are... not some body parts they may have or had at one time. And FYI... girls/women of transgender experience are girls/women.... not boys.

  • That was beautifully done, thank you for sharing this. In sharing this video, I was able to share it with my children and open the topic to discuss with my kids. It's one thing to teach them that everyone is different, and we need to accept people for their differences; and another thing to teach them some of the differences they could encounter and learn to accept. Knowledge counteracts Ignorance

  • Great vid

  • This is a great video.

  • Is this Chris Crocker speaking the voice over?

  • @AugustusLarch Umm.... no

  • @Neogal

I was playing another video on 'hide' of Chris Crocker while I was watching this one. I am dumb.

  • Schools should be held accountable for the torment that TGs go thru. Sensitivity classes for teachers and administrators is a good start but it'll take parent's lawsuits to initiate it

  • felo-de-se. extreme liberalism at its worst.

  • @DamusNostril Not exactly sure how supporting a child's right to be themselves and at the same time lessening their pain and anxiety equals "extreme liberalism". Would it then be fair to say that taking the approach of forcing a child to be something they are not, resulting in depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation and self-loathing was "extreme conservativism" at its worst? Or perhaps you don't believe it's possible to be too conservative? Just sayin'...

  • 1:35...wow. Seven years old.

The way I've always seen it is, if someone tells me they are a girl, then they are a girl. And vice versa. I've never understood why it was absolutely essential to tell someone that they weren't who they said they were.

    Beautiful vid, Neogal.

  • I love the quote at 3:20 !!

  • I really did not know much about this. After reading everyone comments....dammit you guys! now Im crying

  • When I was 12 I remember my dad after catching me several times dressed as a girl asked me if I wanted to be a girl the rest of my life and dress as one at school. He did it in a mean way though and I was scared and said no. To this day I regret saying no all the time. I wish my parents had been more accepting and I would have become a woman sooner.

  • Being trans is hard..especially in a small town. My parents thought I meant 'crossdresser' but they...

    /sigh...

anyways, I'm 24 years old now and I'm finally able to do something about it. I Just wish that I could've earlier.

  • Its a very good video.almost had my eyes watery

  • ok, so, i'm not a trany, but one of my best friends is, and SHE is one of the coolest people i've ever met. SHE came out when she was 7, and shes never regretted it once. At school shes resisted as a boy, but almost no one knows what she really is

this video would have to be one of the best vids on youtube, and to all the haters out there, i would just like to say that you need to grow up and realise that just because you dont like it, dosent mean its wrong, it just makes it different.YAY HANNAH

  • Well done. I never knew of the problem. I am more aware now. Personally, The interviews I have seen tell me that these kids know, they don't just wish. I think with a solid diagnosis they should be permitted to surgically transgender at any age where it is confirmed. I think it would make growing up as much fun as it should be. By making them wait to be altered one would think that mentally and emotionally the damage has already been done.

  • @bestpi I think the issue with that would be that our medical science is not currently advanced enough to transgender a child in a way that their new parts grew with them. I'm pretty sure this is why they must wait until they're adults. The hormone blockers and hormone therapy are an amazing start though. I'm very happy to be living in this era, where we can see and know and change things for the better, for all people.

  • Why can't society just understand transgenderd people?

Why do people have to be so narrow minded?

I for one understand what they are going through.

It is hard enough to live this way with out the hard, judgemental coments.

  • i want to change.. i want to be a girl.. beautiful girl..

but i don't think my parent agree with me.. haha

  • what a terrible song to choose,

    just makes the ears bleed.

    horrid!

  • This video filled my body wih chills. AMAZING!

    Damien

  • i am a trangenger teen i am 14 and i am going to tell my parents when i am 17 and i am a girl trap in gitl body witch they call MTF and i wish i could tell my parents now but am scared i know they would not accept me

  • i am transgender and i am proud to say it. i have not been able to express my self freely because of parents that do not understand any thing. i have been severely depressed my whole life and almost committed suicide in high school because of it. but i found hope when i was searching the internet and found more people like me. i just hope that people can finaly start to understand that being transgender makes us no different than any one else

  • It sucks all this is comming ut just recently. I am transman... at 30 still trying to find my happiness. Im alomost there.. i can taste it. but im not happy. not yet. not.. yet..

  • this is kinda boring, I really liked the 20/20 show on transgender children better than this

  • @caraklippel Yeah... well, ABC 20/20 had a little more budget that I did. :) I liked it better too.

  • If only my mom could understand this.

I came out to her two years ago and it was horrible.

  • I am a young HS student, female by birth, male by heart, living in the Bible Belt of Texas. It's really hard for me to live because of all the "You're going to hell" comments and such, but it's not like I can change, so why try to make me. People just don't seem the concept of transgedered people. They think it's immoral, inhuman, and sinful. I'm here to say that people that say that are wrong. Each of us can only ever be ourselves, and no one should be afraid to show it. Ever.

  • When I Told My Momma That I Transgendered She Didnt Accept Me I Could Hear In Her Voice That She Didnt She Told Me There Nothing feminie About you dnt tell nobody this and untill your 18 your not doing this that hurts noing that the person that always has your back no matter what you want to be doesnt accept you let me tell parents this no matter how much you hate the idea of your child wanting to change there sex no show them love cause it not easy saying that

  • So all those people shown were transgender?...like the microbiologist and author, etc? The minister? and nun?!!

  • @Adaeze611 Yes.

  • What the crap is John Wayne doing in this? Look send out all the its okay-to-be-a-girl-when-your-a-boy videos you want but don't insult and American hero like that!

  • @SSJ5John Ok... so, I'm kinda laughing but I don't mean it as an insult. John Wayne is in there as a metaphor for "stereotypical manhood". I'm curious as to why you felt that including his image was an "insult" to him... I mean, he's not Mohammad, peace be upon him!

  • i feel like a jackass for making fun of you guys. I'm actually really sorry. This video made me sob and now i'm different about you guys. You're all right, you didn't want to be born in that body. And not only me, but EVERYONE should respect that. Parents who do not have support of you, are not your parents. When I grow up and my wife gives birth to a child, and they turn out to be a transgender. I'll be with them every step of the way. Thank you for this video.

  • i dnt understand this? y change how u were born? that extreme, if u feel the opposite jus act how u feel but changin ur piece does nothing!! mayb u think it reconfirms wat u feel huh? makes no sense, if u dnt lik who u are then get brain evaluation not genital evolution cause at the end of the day no matter how much u wanna change, ur still gonna b how u were born n its not real cause u werent born wit a dick/pussy!!!!

  • @RKELLYSCOCO Perhaps, for you, it's easier to change what's in your brain to match your body, but for umm... the rest of the world, it's MUCH easier to help the body conform with the mind. After all, who we all are (including you) is between your ears, not your legs. If that is NOT true for you, then I suggest you skip wearing a motorcycle helmet and instead, wear a metal chastity belt... after all, if something happened to your jewels, you might no long know "who" or "what" you are.

  • whoa 1 in 250

  • An absolutely well put together, thoughtful, insiteful vid,I luv it.

Thank you very very much for sharing it with us.

I am a 45 yr Tg non-op mtf & have been living 90 percent of the time as I should've been from birth.

Tamitha Tammi M ~ Aka ~ Tam Tam

  • If you're born a boy, be a boy, if you're born a girl be a girl!

  • @Soad199Rs That is exactly what these children and youth are doing. Who we are is between our ears, not our legs. That's why we wear bicycle and motorcycle helmets instead of padded, reinforced metal chastity belts.

  • Incredible, awesome, truthful!

  • Very powerful! One day (I hope with all my heart) people, in general, will realize we are all simply who we are? Boy - girl - how about a good person who only want to be allowed to be who they are. Sorry to all the hateful folks out there but God did create us all - straight, gay, lesbian and lets not forget transgender. It is not a problem. it is a reality. Bless the hearts of those who exposed their very private lives for this video. You are owed a debt.

    Thank you.

  • This video I thought was nice until I read a right among others, which said: "I have right to get punished when I have been bad"?! I didn´t believe my eyes. Did I get it right or wrong? And if I got it right, I have a question: Who has made this video with that "bill of right"?

  • This is the best video on trans children that I have ever seen. The onlything that I would change is the reference to "sexual preference". Sexual orientation is a much better term. This video is amazing and made me cry. I wish my parents had seen this video when I was a child.

  • This is just wrong...supposting it? if you think he/she is support it? let the person make its own choises...teenagers are sexualy confused in some point...need to just let them make their choise and not try to push them to 1 side...the one you think he'll go

  • @thegreatjojo1 I wanted to reply to your post... but for the life of me I can't wade through the spelling, grammar and sentence construction challenges. Sorry... communication is a two-way street, and I'm afraid your driving without your lights on.

  • this video makes me feel depressed :(

  • Wonderful video everyone in it is beautiful.

  • i had problems as akid with my gender. I always felt that i should be a boy. Now that I am an adult, I have more controll of my life. As a teen, i was very primiscous because I wanted know why it didnt feel right to be with a guy. I came out to my family when I was 18 that I was gay. i still hid my true feelings. I am now with a wonderful woman that accepts me. I still know that I am a girl of the outside, but inside i am a guy. I have come to accept myself and am very happy.

  • My nephew is 4years old. He wants to wear dresses and paint his nails. He prefers dolls over any boy toys. He always want pink. We are waiting for him to mature and tell us if he is just feminine or if really feels that he has the wrong parts.

  • im a trans guy and proud, this video moved me so much

  • this was a beautiful video, i... don't know what to say. its inspirational, and... leaves me without words. Or maybe my words are just kept inside of my dormant fear of this mystery in my mind that constantly bugs me. I am Male. 18 Years of age. But... i don't know if i would choose this or not. It feels like its too late. I don't know... Thank you for this video. I loved it.

  • I'm Gay and I'm Proud of It!

  • Idk but I have a strong strong Sense that one of the kids I will have may be Trans or Gay. I personally, as young as I am, worry that I will fail them as a father. Not seeing signs early, not acting on them quick enough, I fear I will not be as good a father to my kids as my own father was for me. But how do you deal with somthing like this? espescially when kids decide this so young? It scares me that I could have a kid considering suicide down the road.

  • Thank you for sharing this video. It is touching and empowering to see comments of children loved as who they are, and the effort in putting the video. I just thank god that they have the support that I do not have.

  • In order to protect everyone's privacy, what I will tell you is that it is a film about transgender childrena and youth and, therefore, there are many transgender children and youth in the film.

  • This video makes me cry . I did not "choose" to be trans. I would choose to be stared at sometimes. I just want to live and be happy

  • With all due respect, Beth, that's one of the dumbest, most inane statements ever written in the history of YT.

To become "trans" is not something automatic, nor is it genetic. If you wanted to live and be happy. You would have looked at yourself in the mirror as the gender you were born in, stood up, picked up your chin and been proud of it.

    --The Final Justice

  • @FinalJusticeMovement You don't know of which you speak... perhaps the Final Justice is blind to anything you simply don't understand. It's not a matter of "pride" in any specific way of being, it's about being proud of who YOU are, regardless of what others may think. There is evidence of genetic/prenatal causes for gender nonconformity... and if you were as interested in learning as you are in judging, you might stumble across some that information. I rest my case.

  • I have stumbled across a PLETHORA of viable information, Beth, and trust me, I understand you and the homosexualist agenda VERY WELL... ALL TOO WELL. Your definition of "being proud of who you are" is "abandon who you are and become what WE are". Homosexualists prey on people's low self-esteem and their inability to cope with life in their own skin (especially as men dealing with women), and readily seek to convince them that their lives would be much better living OPPOSITE of who they are. -FJ
  • @FinalJusticeMovement Since we're talking about "gender identity" and NOT "sexual orientation", it seems to me that you're intent on arguing the wrong points on the wrong subject in the wrong forum. Again.... gender identity is NOT the same as sexual orientation. Stop judging people and take time to learn something. It will be beneficial for all involved.

  • Okay, since you want to play THAT game, Beth. Here's the deal -- "Gender identity" is a major part of the "sexual orientation spectrum" that homosexualists need to achieve their aims in destroying society, the male/female dynamic and overall morality. If they had nothing to do with each other, there would be no such thing as "GLBT" and "transgenders" would be ultimately left out. Besides, transgenders are basically homosexuals who cloak their appearance to try and JUSTIFY their behavior. --FJ
  • @FinalJusticeMovement

I don't know where you've come across your "plethora of viable information" but your attitude is profoundly narrow-minded. Instead of just running your mouth and accusing all the rest of the world of moving through hidden agendas you should perhaps try understanding the issue first; it's about gender identity. Nobody wants to convince a child that they're something they're not, it just happens and we have to deal with it in a sensitive way.

  • @FinalJusticeMovement wtf? People actually think this way? If anyone has an agenda, it's people who try to force everyone to be exactly the same, people like you are afraid of diversity and stuck on traditional, bullshit values that you believe just because someone told you, instead of thinking yourself. And as far as transgender people, it is not living as the "opposite" of who they are, it's finally being who they really are - changing the body to make the body more like the mind already is

  • my friend is transfemale and she is attracted to females. i thought if u are a female u wud go for the opposite sex but then she says transgenders go for either sex . very confusing.

  • Trans people can be gay or lesbian, just as non-trans people can be gay or lesbian.

It's really very simple to understand. Who you are attracted to (sexual orientation) is different than who you ARE (gender identity).

  • U r right I understand now thanks:)

  • @spunkkymunkky Gender identity is COMPLETELY different from sexual orientation. Who you "like" is different from who you "are". Trans women can be straight (like men) or lesbian ( like women) and trans men can be straight (like women) or gay (like men). Trans people are EXACTLY like non-trans people except in ONE way... their body may not match their internal gender map. It's ok... no harm, no foul.

  • @Neogal completly correct :)

  • A wonderful video-a powerful video. Seeing things like this give me such hope that in the future, trans kids will be spared so much of what my generation has suffered. And it makes me even more dedicated to make sure that happens. Thanks!

  • I feel your pain. I am a mother, and it was my daughter, my first born daughter, that became my son. I still look back at baby pictures. I miss my daughter that never existed. But my son is a wonderful adition to society. He is smart, funny, and very good looking. Just like my daughter, but so much happier. Being born intersexed is the worse birth defect. And yet society still does not view it as a defect.

  • im a transgendered child and proud of it!

  • ...and I'm proud of you for saying it out loud!

  • Lovely, thank you for posting.

  • This is one of the best videos i've seen on youtube. It kind of hits home. It even made me cry. I wish more parents would watch this. The they'd understand its NOT A CHOICE!

  • Share this video with her... that's why I made it.

Stay strong and stay true to your identity.

  • i am a transgender boy wanting to be a girl so much i have tryed telling my mum about it but she says its just a phase i am certine its not i know all i want in life is to be a girl but i havent got the courage to bring the subject up again with my mum please someboddy give mee some advice :(

  • first of all your not a boy you are a girl who happens to be a bit different, second, i'm like you im terrified of what my mom is going to think, but what im going to do is write a note to her saying everything, if you want to know of a great site for support private message me, and if u go ahead and do it without wanting to know the site, there are two major things you need to know, 1 have information about transsexuals beacause she will ask quesions 2 never back down and never give in.

  • its not always easy for parents, the "its a phase" thing is a way they hope to well let the issue pass. honestly its just a way for parents to not admit, not deal with the issue.

it really isn't very easy being a kid, having a gender issue well just makes it harder. hang in there though, while your mom might think it is a phase, perhaps you just need to show her its not. Might mess up the family for a bit but well you know what, just be you and do what you think is right for you. be strong

  • I am a mom of a transgender. I know it is hard. My son tried telling me for years before I would listen. I even found a note in his room. It said Please god tell my mom I am a boy and not a girl. Finally, I couldn't stand to see him hurting anymore. Your mom loves you, but like me I did feel like my baby girl died so my son could live. I now realize that that baby girl never existed. Give her time but don't trade your happiness to make her happy. She will thank you and love you more.

  • Dear tin1999

as a transperson, I'm always surprised why parents would feel that way. We don't die, we are very much alive. The kid that you knew as a girl is still in there and the same. He is just a little different than you imagined. Boy and girl are not states of being that exclude each other but just points on a continuum of humanity.

  • continued answer: It is true that part of the *idea* that you had about your child died, but this happens for most parents when thir kids grow up and have a head of their own. Try to broaden your view and see human beings more as beings and less as gender

I think it's wonderful that you as a parent support your son the way you do :-)

  • I'm basically in that exact same situation :(

  • @

genda identiy is a hard thing to deal with especely your own with understanding your self and fitting in, im not quite transgenda but im more of androgynous

some times when i was growing up i wanted to be a girl too

its very hard to talk to family and frends about thses things and some times its best not too

but theres otheres out there who we can talk too

im also learning about my self too

i been on hormones last 2 months

    how old are you?

  • Hey,

    great video :)

Also great to see the comments, each one has an indepth reply.

I have been posting TS related videos and myself delete the hate filled comments so it's not a strain on readers.

I'll be linking this video to a group of people i know, even if it makes just one of them think, it's a success :)

  • science is clearly revealing ALL embryo brains are Female at conception...there is a process to configure it to male for an Xy chromosomal person that doesnt always make it, and vice versa for an XX chromosomal person, sometimes Nature, our true creator, takes it further than expected. It is noones fault that people are born with a brain that doesnt match their genitals...sexually we are what we think and feel we are...sometimes the body betrays the self identity, which originates in the brain!!

  • wow, I know what the song at the start is, it's dax johnson. lol I know his brother and have seen the piano he learned to play on.

  • Right to use the right bathroom

    ..uh

but which one would be the right bathroom for

a male to female transgender child?

  • I am assuming that, at present, you are allowed to use the bathroom that matches your gender identity? Does anyone require you to prove, before entering, that your genitalia matches your gender identity? I'm going to go ahead and guess the answer to that question is "no". EVERYONE should be allowed to use the restroom that matches their gender identity/expression, so long as they don't abuse that right. It's really NOT that complicated.
