@Nachash91 I think its a mistake for endo/mesimorphs like layne. I think it makes the large muscle groups outgrow everything else. You want each musclegroup to pop out.
If you just want size though then I quess its fine. It would ruin my look.
@chr0n1c4 because the big muscles grow easily, the smaller ones take time. You see the guys walking about with huge traps and small arms. Building delts, bi's, tri's is a real achievement but to emphasise these groups you have to keep your head when it comes to training your back. My arms are 18 inches cold but I dont train my back any more than 7 sets once a week if I brought it up to 20 sets every 4 days it would explode and make my delts look smaller and my arms look skinnier. No thanks.
@CraigSips your body sematotype doesn't reflect how well each muscle group respons to certain amounts of volume and frequency. the whole endo/meso/ecto is outdated theese days. every respoinds differently to different types of trianing. some people respond well to volume + frequency, some dont, some just volume, some just frequency. i am sure they probably have some muscle imbalances also.
@chr0n1c4 well, the proof is in the pudding as they say. Suppose its all a matter of taste but I think Layne looks far too stalky and that could be avoided.
@chr0n1c4 I think his back overshadows everything else. Not knocking the guy, to put that much mass on without drugs is some acheivement. Hats of to him.
i love the Power/Hypertrophy routine, i think that is really fun
