As A Army Medic Wife I seen the 1st Cav patch and that made me tear up. My husband was with them his first deployment. I think whoever did this video did an outstanding job. He showed all that Medics stand for. I am proud of what my husband has done and I am proud to be a Army wife.

True, there's no feeling like saving a life. I've said it before and I'll say it again, any man can shoot a rifle in a bad firefight, but it takes a real man to sling that rifle and render aid to a wounded comrade in the middle of said firefight. Wish I could still do it. Was hit with IED in 03, took shrapnel and herniated 5 discs in my back. Can't even be an EMT or Paramedic now :(. Yay for GI Bill and Army college fund though.

Excellent video. I was in the bush with the 3/21, 196th Light Infantry Brigade in 1969 when Daniel "Doc" Shea was killed saving the lives of others. He was awarded the Medal of Honor for his sacrifice.
