Get flexible and strong fingers for those octaves. My hands were TIRED as I believe that was my 10th+ take. And get used to doing the octave slide ups without skipping a string (i.e., playing the low A as 5/E then the high A on 12/A, fret/string).

Well, figuring it out by looking at this guy will get you a lot more out of it than just playing the tab.. And I think that it shouldn't be too hard, his video is very high quality. One tip: I think 80% of this video is octaves.
