The thing about the Mother series is that it defies so many traditional RPG conventions and is just so lovably nuts that it stands out from the rest of the rank and file. The two series are just too different to compare to one another on level ground.

I remember being fixated on the screen when I first saw Jeff ride in the Sky Runner. It looked so awesome to me at the time.
