If Sufism helps people feel closer to Allah, then I don't see why it should be such a harmful thing, as the Wahabbis think. Not everyone feels a connection to the dry orthodoxy of Salafism. And if you're heart isn't really in Islam, it doesnt matter how austere you are. Some people prefer Salafism, some prefer Sufism. But the Sufis arent the one calling everyone else in the world Kafir.
This expression of Islam is exactly what Saudi Wahabbis want to destroy. Their petrodollars are being used to fund madrassas and buy-off imams all over the world, so that you'll see their mindless followers cursing everything non-Wahabbi as "shirK" or "innovation."

I like the old video's on your channel. Do you think that you will be adding any more Dervish videos? Sufism has to be one of the more interesting and mystical aspects of Islam.
aren't there different groups with different sheikhs, at least within the mevlevi...i spent time at an "authentic" lodge in Ankara, descended from Suleyman Dede. There are also two separate groups in America...
@Yogatussie Yeah i gree but... i can't let my little boy watch this... he'll more than likely put on his older sister's white dress and twirl around, breaking things... he might grow to like doing it too much
This is so fascinating. They stop so suddenly as well. Amazing how they can keep the spinning so constant and then stop so suddenly! Is it only certain people who can do this? or can anyone who follows Sufism do it?
Buen video.
Wow.. I'm currently learning about the Islam for college and now watching this video.. I can understand that when you keep spinning around like that you must sink away in some kind of meditation.

@joe1ger True, many people confuse Sufism as a branch of Islam. It is actually a higher state of mind achieved after travelling through the ways of Ibadah and Dhikr. The reason for misconceptions nowadays is because people try to enter into this state directly. without travelling and strengthening the basics first.
@mudaranbar - do you EVEN understand what i was trying to say???- they are whirling in the form of "Sacred Geometry"- the SCIENCE of GOD...take a minute to digest that, if you read carefully was they KNEW the realm of GOD and how to reach him, through the form of Sacred Geometry- thanks for being closed minded - trying reading up on it,before you comment again.....
@mudaranbar - you missed the point- but sufis didn't- the arabic ppl led the world in the sciences and mathematics- what slammed you right back to the 10th century? ask yourself that question, and understand that they dance in form of the Golden Ratio-how funny they knew but you haven't grasp the concept-please research Golden Ratio i.e,Golden Mean i.e, Fibbonaci Sequence, in which they DANCE this sequence number - in a spiral which is the Golden Ratio-have a good day
@hulaqde What led the Arabs to a Golden Age 800 years ago, (and then the Turks, Indians, and Safavids in the 17th century) was INNOVATION. Colonialism pulled us down, but Wahabbism has kept us down. The Islamic world is slowly succumbing to the curse of Saudi-funded Wahabbism which views innovation as dangerous. They want us to live in the 7th century instead of the modern age. How can any society progress when such overwhelming forces are pushing us backwards?
come muslims who believe in sufism think that this dance bring them close to God. one hand is held toward the sky (to be close to God and spiritually) and the other is held toward the ground (i believe to release that) it is basically a type of meditation to bring themselves close to God on a personal level and also they believe it helps the people watching this too.
ceana69-allow me to answer that...Sufis must "know" something about this dance because they dance it in the form of"Sacred Geometry"by way of the Fibonacci Sequence-scientists belive that(mathematically) life on this planet is in the form of geometry-the universe must operate within cosmic law,to do so otherwise would have this planet catastrophic meltdown-so thousands of yr ago, this"dance" was to bring u closer to God-google this and u will see-no disrepect to anyone and blessings
@beijoso Sufis don't want to be dominant, however, Sufism is very deep rooted among Muslims but many hearts are so hardened that they don't want to be softened!
@Padishyia 1) I got one question for you; who was sent by Allah t., to the mankind as a rolemodel and as the last prophet (saw)? Ok, the prophet Mohammed (saw). Did he, or his companions, or the children of his companions, do that? No. When you say "this has everything to do with Islam" and he (saw), or his companions, or the children of his companions, did not do that, that will either mean you say, auzubillah, he was hiding something from the deen of Allah t. from us,
@joe1ger Did the Prophet speak English? Because by your logic, if the Prophet didn't do it, its un-Islamic. Using a computer is Un-Islamic then. The spirit of Islam is what matters- We live in a modern age, and not the 7th century. If Islam were all about freezing our practices in the 7th century, it would be an anti-modern religion. But thats not what Islam is. Islam is a religion of the heart, not a religion of backwards-looking puritanism.
@khanra Is speaking english and the other things you said, from Deen? - No. So there is no problem in that. Im with you, - we can use a computer, we can speak english we can use technic, but we cant bring new stuff, wich neither the Prophet (pbuh) nor his compagnions, or the children of the compagnions did, in this Religion since Allah t, said, in the holy Quran, in 5:3 with approximate meaning:
@Padishyia 2) or he did not know everything in the deen of Allah t., and that is danger.
Allah t, says in the holy Quran, in 5:3 with approximate meaning: "This day have I PERFECTED your religion for you and COMPLETED My favour unto you, and have chosen for you as religion AL-ISLAM."
And last thing: "Only Turkish people do it though, because it is Turkish culture." Yes. And ISLAM is for all mankind, not only turkish people but as youself said "it is Turkish culture" and not Deen.
@beijoso Although you haven't said it would be a better world, the conclusion isn't far off. Sounds like someone who knows very little of Islam proper, or indeed of Muslim.
every culture has something beautiful and enriching..there are good and evil people all over. KKK are white ..Does that make every caucasian evil. Ignorant people need to stop being hate mongers because they are too lazy to take the time to be properly informed. Life is precious.
Reading some comments here, am struck by the Sufi respect, tolerance & love, on the one hand, & the harsh, judgmental attitude of a few comment-writers.
Being outside of a religion allows 1 to c how crazy its text-obsessed Fundamentalist/extremist adherents r.
We see how crazy they r, but don't c it in ourselves.
It would b interesting 2 c extremists of Christianity, Judaism, & Islam commenting here one after the other, fighting about their various books, etc.
Very nice. I enjoyed it very much, and I'm sure those who did the whirling also gained immensely from it. Cut out all the theological discussion as to whether it is right or wrong. God accepts everything if it's from the heart. Give us more of these whirling dervishes.
I read through the comments, many interesting ones, I think I actually learn more hadiths and historical backgrounds as well.. Anyways, I am still trying to understand many aspects of Islam so I wouldn't be disregarding anything too soon.. Besides who are we to say one person is right and the other is wrong, what if all of our Ibadah is thrown back at us during Yaumul Qiyamah.. Lets just be humble and pray to Allah for our guidance and the rest of the Ummah..
I am not a Dervish or a follower of Islam. However, I have practiced this type of whirling and I can say from experience that it can lead to extreme dizziness, or, with right attention, it can help to find a state of greater awareness and an extended period of self remembering.
Fear Allaah and stop fighting the sunnah, its crystal clear. NO BUILDING OVER GRAVES, no worshipping and calling on the past saints EVEN IF THEY ARE RIGHTEOUS. Is not the prayer of the Prophet sallah Allaahu 'alayhi wassalam good enough for us? as he said PRAY AS YOU SEE ME PRAY
So-Called SalafiJustice.. give me a break.. your representation is not the sunnah in the least. you are generalizing, and in an exaggertaing way.. The prophet salla allahu alayhi wa salaam said pray as you see my pray as in how to learn how to make salat dua etc. how else would muslims that time learn from the prophet salla allahu alayhi wa salaam? ridiculous.
Second.. true sufis do not worship their shaykhs although salafis claim it anyway to support their fitnah and assault on the ummah of Islam. Whats so funny is, in salah an-nabi, you make prayer for the Prophet salla allahu alayhi wa salaam AND his family.. ridiculous statement again.. so you also pray for the awliya because the awliya have a bonafied lineage that goes back to the prophet salla allahu alayhi wa salaam unlike your scholars who have no affiliation whatsoever with Ahl Al-Bayt..
Bukhari:Book 2 :: Volume 23 :: Hadith 472 Narrated 'Aisha:Allah's Apostle in his fatal illness said, "Allah cursed the Jews and the Christians, for they built the places of worship at the graves of their prophets." And if that had not been the case, then the Prophet's grave would have been made prominent before the people. So (the Prophet ) was afraid, or the people were afraid that his grave might be taken as a place for worship.
see.. didn't i tell you.. you were going to pull this card. first thing. They Built "places of worship". These are places of worship "to" these prophets. being the divination of their own prophets. The mashhads or maqams are not that.
This is still my favorite sufi video, mainly because of the drumming done here--it's one of the few where you can REALLY hear them, and how they set the tone and rhythm for the dervishes.
In response tocorrectyourselffirst--I would be FAR more concerned with the enormous number of false exorcisms being posted at youtube, than the authentic sufi ceremonies. To me, THOSE clips are far more blasphemous than clips like this one, which merely show people in an ecstatic state in their worship of Allah.
exactly...all you guys care about is feelings....in reality you have abandoned the sunnah for your desires and emotions because you will never find this garbage from the qur'an and sunnah
Correctyourselffirst, your life must be a cold, lonely, existence if you have nothing else to do but rant against Sufis and spam this location with your self righteous arrogance. I would suggest that you remember that God is generous and that we are all his creatures. As elcapone 82 says, "Peace be with you."
there is nothing more pleasing to me than defending the religion of Allaah from any corruption whether it is from within or without. there will be 73 sects in islaam, and 72 are in the hellfire, Allaah is also most severe in punishment. dont take some attributes and reject others.
These People who attack the ahl as-suffah and tasawwuf get their irshad (guidance) from those who have sought out to destroy true Islam. If you look at Ibn Baz or even Albani none of these so-called scholars have any relations to the Prophet salla allahu alayhi wa salaam. No isnad (chain) whatsoever linking themselves back to the khatm an-Nabi.. while those in tasawwuf are able too. I would not follow the salafi unless i wished to see the hellfire..
those who inherit from the prophet sallah Allaahu 'alayhi wassalam are those that follow his teachings. Show me where oh cursor of the kibaar al 'ulamaa, show me where the prophet and companions danced and worshipped graves and starve themselves for as long as they can and say that Allaah is everywhere etc like you sufis believe. you have no evidence, only speech derived from your hawaa'...sufis in reality only follow their desires. may Allaah guide you
I am serious doubt, as to what you deem religion of Allah.. first.. Islam is culture ot a religion.. religion is taken from the word meaning religio which means to split.. or division.. Islam is not a division, Islam is universal..
and as far as attacking the salafi "ulama". These are the chief coordinators of causing fitnah through this ummah, and also gained control of saudi arabia through the british after the fall of the ottomans.. basically british agents..
you brought no proof of what you just said and you brought no proof from the sunnah. i think you should change your name or bring proof where the companions dizzied themselves,Allaah humiliated the ottomans because of the garbage in this video that they were spreading
oh so you want proof? read about lawrence of Arabia, how he had the saudi predecessors help him in overthrowing the Ottomans.there's one that's easy to find.. second.. now you claim i am "attacking" your "scholars". Well from what it looks like here, you put your unwanted 2 cents in about a "sunnah" which is a corrupted khwariji, yes khwariji ideal and school of though mixed with the dhahiri school of law which is defunct. whats even funnier is, you actually follow a school of law..
let me help you out with some history... Muhammad ibn abd al wahab had no control over what is present day "saudi arabia" it was only through the sa'ud clan that they started desecrating the graves of the al-Baqi cemetary.. being that they had control of it from the help of the british hence lawrence of Arabia.. again.. learn your history.. the Sa'ud clan are the ones who enacted the wahhabi doctrine in present day Saudi Arabia. Think before you speak
go back on your words now. the prophet sallah Allahau 'alayhi wasalaam told Ali radi Allaahu 'anhu LEAVE NO STATUE except that it is destroyed and LEAVE NO GRAVE EXCEPT THAT IT IS LEVELLED TO THE GROUND because this leads to graveworshpping which the sufis are accustomed too and this is shirk AKBAR
what is the full isnad? and who was it narrated from? and also, you cannot just read hadith alone, and expect to interpret these hadith unless you are a true scholar. This is what salafis do, they read hadith and think they can decipher the meaning with just reading hadith. What if one hadith conflicts with another? are you going to recite one hadith over another? this is not dalil..
Sahih Muslim: Book 4 : Hadith 2114 Thumama b. Shafayy reported: When we were with Fadala b. 'Ubaid in the country of the Romans at a place (known as) Rudis, a friend of ours died. Fadala b. 'Ubaid ordered to prepare a grave for him and then it was levelled; and then he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) commanding (us) to level the grave.
and secondly.. who forced you to come to this video and start watching it? no one but yourself. and who is the one that made the decision to create fitnah by leaving your messages? you did.. this si what you learn from your "scholars"?
yes we protect muslims who are sincere from these paths of destruction. May Allaah guide and protect this ummah from all evil from within the ummah or without and the evil from within the ummah is more dangerous then the evil from without
no you dont protect the ummah. thats a fallacy. You create fitnah. If one does not agree with the salafi doctrine. which is an exaggerated version of the Hanbali school of law, that person is a kafir, a mushrik etc. the Prophet salla allahu alayhi wa salaam, said not to erect shrines of worship towards those who have died.. to prevent polytheism. but time and time again, these salafi deliberately misquote this hadith.. this is the basis of your salafi doctrine
Sahih Muslim:Book 4 : Hadith 2116 Jabir said: Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) forbade that the graves should be plastered or they be used as sitting places (for the people), or a building should be built over them.
Now recite the hadith, where it sunnah to pray for those at their graves. Like the prophet salla allahu alayhi wa salaam used to do for hours at a time, when one of his wives got jealous and thought he was out with anothe rof his wives, and he was actually in the cemetary praying for those who had passed away. or is your memory that bad? or are you hiding something?
furthermore.. for your sect the wahhabis going in and destroying the tombstones and mashhads of the sahabah.. if the sahabah were alive today, they would have all of your salafi heads.. the idolaters of Makkah al Mukarramah are probably watching from the hellfire and cheering your sect on.. yes 72 will burn, 1 will be saved.. not the defacers of Al-Islam the salafi cultists..
How can you respect anyone who lies against Allaah and his Messenger? Allaah says who is worse then one who tells a lie against Allaah! It is our duty to expose ANYONE who attributes lies to Islaam. Everywhere sufism spreads, destruction and annhilation of muslims and Islam occurs with their shirk and bid'ah.
All deviants will be exposed as long as they claim their deviations are from Islaam. It is our duty to protect Islaam from the lies people attribute to it. How dare anyone play with Allaah's religion adding to it what they want and rejecting what they want. No wonder why this ummah is in a mess. The sufis are a huge cause for the downfall of this ummah. Everywhere sufism spreads, destruction and annhilation of muslims and Islaam follows
Every worship that is commanded in Islaam like salaah, zakaah, sawm, THIKR, JIHAAD is outlined STEP BY STEP as to how to carry it out. why on earth do sufis think that it is different with thikr? THIKR has a strict methodology to apply it like every other worship. CAN YOU MAKE UP YOUR OWN SALAAH or ZAKAAH? so how can you make up your own thikr like these sufis do? this is pure dalaalah and every dalalah is in hellfire. The Prophet never did this!!

You just spoke against the words of Allaah the Most HIGH. We as Muslims are commanded to JUDGE by what Allaah has revealed. Qur'an 5.44 ...If any do fail to judge by (the light of) what God hath revealed, they are (no better than) unbelievers.
JUDGING IS ALLOWED Qur'an 4.105 We have sent down to thee the Book in truth, that thou mightest judge between men, as guided by God: so be not (used) as an advocate by those who betray their trust;
JUDGING IS ALLOWED QURAN 5:42 (They are fond of) listening to falsehood, of devouring anything forbidden. If they do come to thee, either judge between them, or decline to interfere. If thou decline, they cannot hurt thee in the least. If thou judge, judge in equity between them. For Allah loveth those who judge in equity.
The Prophet sallah Allahau 'alayhi wassalam said in the authentic hadeeth: there will be people from my ummah who will make alcohol, fornication, music, and gambling halal. This video is proof of that hadeeth ALLAAHU AKBAR, may Allaah protect this ummah from these misguided dizzy dancers
I respect your believes and I wish for the same. Sufis are taught to tolerate and tolerate i shall to you. By all means, judge all you want but sufis will stay sufis, and you shall stay stupid. Sufis don't pass judgment as they leave it to the Almighty and in the process, don't cause any resentment from others. Sufis don't go around quoting words from the Holy Book, only understanding the literal meanings. I don't expect you to accept what I've written.
If that was meant as a joke, I hope it was not meant to be spiteful--you might want to rephrase it however, as those within the sufi tradition (and those who at least respect it) might interpret your statement as an insult. Just a thought.
No,it wasn't meant to be spiteful.I have high regard for Sufis and Sufism.Their philosophy, though certainly the minority view in Islam, is one of acceptance,non-violence,and universal love.Rumi was a great human being and philosopher. All kidding aside,he would have had no problem singing or dancing to Hava Nagila, Christian gospel music,etc.etc. etc.
I'm sorry, I just get really sensitive about this sort of thing...especially since I have been on the receiving end of mean comments from my family because I chose not to be atheist.
Great stuff, both the whirling and the drumming and really the sort of thing to show us in the West that the Near East has something going on that we lack.
I was mesmerized. Dance for me is a release, a state of being like no other, hypnotic and meditative, I have no body. All the same, how can he just spin round and round on the spot indefinitely without falling in a heap?
I've only seen this once before and that was during a concert of Oojami. I just stopped in my tracks and felt completely drawn in, i couldn't take my eyes off him.
If Sufism helps people feel closer to Allah, then I don't see why it should be such a harmful thing, as the Wahabbis think. Not everyone feels a connection to the dry orthodoxy of Salafism. come muslims who believe in sufism think that this dance bring them close to God. one hand is held toward the sky (to be close to God and spiritually) and the other is held toward the ground (i believe to release that) it is basically a type of meditation to bring themselves close to God on a personal level and also they believe it helps the people watching this too.
ceana69 3 years ago 4
ceana69-allow me to answer that...Sufis must "know" something about this dance because they dance it in the form of"Sacred Geometry"by way of the Fibonacci Sequence-scientists belive that(mathematically) life on this planet is in the form of geometry-the universe must operate within cosmic law,to do so otherwise would have this planet catastrophic meltdown-so thousands of yr ago, this"dance" was to bring u closer to God-google this and u will see-no disrepect to anyone and blessings

@beijoso Sufis don't want to be dominant, however, Sufism is very deep rooted among Muslims but many hearts are so hardened that they don't want to be softened!

@beijoso This got nothing to do with Islam. Our beloved prophet (pbuh) never did that, neither did the sahaba.
joe1ger 11 months ago 2
@joe1ger It has everything to do with Islam. Only Turkish people do it though, because it is Turkish culture.
Padishyia 4 months ago
@Padishyia 1) I got one question for you; who was sent by Allah t., to the mankind as a rolemodel and as the last prophet (saw)? Ok, the prophet Mohammed (saw). Did he, or his companions, or the children of his companions, do that? No. When you say "this has everything to do with Islam" and he (saw), or his companions, or the children of his companions, did not do that, that will either mean you say, auzubillah, he was hiding something from the deen of Allah t. from us,
joe1ger 4 months ago
@joe1ger Did the Prophet speak English? Because by your logic, if the Prophet didn't do it, its un-Islamic. Using a computer is Un-Islamic then. The spirit of Islam is what matters- We live in a modern age, and not the 7th century. If Islam were all about freezing our practices in the 7th century, it would be an anti-modern religion. But thats not what Islam is. Islam is a religion of the heart, not a religion of backwards-looking puritanism.
khanra 3 months ago
@khanra Is speaking english and the other things you said, from Deen? - No. So there is no problem in that. Im with you, - we can use a computer, we can speak english we can use technic, but we cant bring new stuff, wich neither the Prophet (pbuh) nor his compagnions, or the children of the compagnions did, in this Religion since Allah t, said, in the holy Quran, in 5:3 with approximate meaning:
joe1ger 3 months ago
@khanra "This day have I PERFECTED your religion for you and COMPLETED My favour unto you, and have chosen for you as religion AL-ISLAM."
joe1ger 3 months ago
@Padishyia 2) or he did not know everything in the deen of Allah t., and that is danger.
Allah t, says in the holy Quran, in 5:3 with approximate meaning: "This day have I PERFECTED your religion for you and COMPLETED My favour unto you, and have chosen for you as religion AL-ISLAM."
And last thing: "Only Turkish people do it though, because it is Turkish culture." Yes. And ISLAM is for all mankind, not only turkish people but as youself said "it is Turkish culture" and not Deen.
joe1ger 4 months ago
@beijoso Although you haven't said it would be a better world, the conclusion isn't far off. Sounds like someone who knows very little of Islam proper, or indeed of Muslim.

Very very cool.
It would b interesting 2 c extremists of Christianity, Judaism, & Islam commenting here one after the other, fighting about their various books, etc.
apollodionysus7 4 years ago
Yes it would be interesting, but how will it benefit us? All of them will only fight about what's written in their ancient books.
You may find faith and beliefs in the books but you will never find God's love in it.

SalafiJustice 4 years ago
So-Called SalafiJustice.. give me a break.. your representation is not the sunnah in the least. you are generalizing, and in an exaggertaing way.. The prophet salla allahu alayhi wa salaam said pray as you see my pray as in how to learn how to make salat dua etc. how else would muslims that time learn from the prophet salla allahu alayhi wa salaam? ridiculous.
pr00fishere 4 years ago
Second.. true sufis do not worship their shaykhs although salafis claim it anyway to support their fitnah and assault on the ummah of Islam.

SalafiJustice 4 years ago
see.. didn't i tell you.. you were going to pull this card. first thing. They Built "places of worship". These are places of worship "to" these prophets. being the divination of their own prophets. The mashhads or maqams are not that.
pr00fishere 4 years ago
This is still my favorite sufi video, mainly because of the drumming done here--it's one of the few where you can REALLY hear them, and how they set the tone and rhythm for the dervishes.
Sarakiel 4 years ago
In response tocorrectyourselffirst--I would be FAR more concerned with the enormous number of false exorcisms being posted at youtube, than the authentic sufi ceremonies. To me, THOSE clips are far more blasphemous than clips like this one, which merely show people in an ecstatic state in their worship of Allah.

there is nothing more pleasing to me than defending the religion of Allaah from any corruption whether it is from within or without. there will be 73 sects in islaam, and 72 are in the hellfire, Allaah is also most severe in punishment. dont take some attributes and reject others.
CorrectYourselfFirst 4 years ago
These People who attack the ahl as-suffah and tasawwuf get their irshad (guidance) from those who have sought out to destroy true Islam. If you look at Ibn Baz or even Albani none of these so-called scholars have any relations to the Prophet salla allahu alayhi wa salaam. No isnad (chain) whatsoever linking themselves back to the khatm an-Nabi.. while those in tasawwuf are able too. I would not follow the salafi unless i wished to see the hellfire..
pr00fishere 4 years ago
those who inherit from the prophet sallah Allaahu 'alayhi wassalam are those that follow his teachings. Show me where oh cursor of the kibaar al 'ulamaa, show me where the prophet and companions danced and worshipped graves and starve themselves for as long as they can and say that Allaah is everywhere etc like you sufis believe. you have no evidence, only speech derived from your hawaa'...sufis in reality only follow their desires. may Allaah guide you
SalafiJustice 4 years ago
I am serious doubt, as to what you deem religion of Allah.. first.. Islam is culture ot a religion.. religion is taken from the word meaning religio which means to split.. or division.. Islam is not a division, Islam is universal..
and as far as attacking the salafi "ulama". These are the chief coordinators of causing fitnah through this ummah, and also gained control of saudi arabia through the british after the fall of the ottomans.. basically british agents..
pr00fishere 4 years ago
you brought no proof of what you just said and you brought no proof from the sunnah. i think you should change your name or bring proof where the companions dizzied themselves,Allaah humiliated the ottomans because of the garbage in this video that they were spreading
SalafiJustice 4 years ago
oh so you want proof? read about lawrence of Arabia, how he had the saudi predecessors help him in overthrowing the Ottomans.there's one that's easy to find.. second.. now you claim i am "attacking" your "scholars". Well from what it looks like here, you put your unwanted 2 cents in about a "sunnah" which is a corrupted khwariji, yes khwariji ideal and school of though mixed with the dhahiri school of law which is defunct. whats even funnier is, you actually follow a school of law..
pr00fishere 4 years ago
lawrench of arabia??? when did muhammed ibn abdul wahab rahimahulah come and when did lawrence come lol, learn some history
SalafiJustice 4 years ago
let me help you out with some history... Think before you speak
pr00fishere 4 years ago
go back on your words now. the prophet sallah Allahau 'alayhi wasalaam told Ali radi Allaahu 'anhu LEAVE NO STATUE except that it is destroyed and LEAVE NO GRAVE EXCEPT THAT IT IS LEVELLED TO THE GROUND because this leads to graveworshpping which the sufis are accustomed too and this is shirk AKBAR
SalafiJustice 4 years ago
what is the full isnad? and who was it narrated from? and also, you cannot just read hadith alone, and expect to interpret these hadith unless you are a true scholar. This is what salafis do, they read hadith and think they can decipher the meaning with just reading hadith. What if one hadith conflicts with another? are you going to recite one hadith over another? this is not dalil..
pr00fishere 4 years ago
Sahih Muslim: Book 4 : Hadith 2114 Thumama b. Shafayy reported: When we were with Fadala b. 'Ubaid in the country of the Romans at a place (known as) Rudis, a friend of ours died. Fadala b. 'Ubaid ordered to prepare a grave for him and then it was levelled; and then he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) commanding (us) to level the grave.
SalafiJustice 4 years ago
and secondly.. who forced you to come to this video and start watching it? no one but yourself. and who is the one that made the decision to create fitnah by leaving your messages? you did.. this si what you learn from your "scholars"?
pr00fishere 4 years ago
yes we protect muslims who are sincere from these paths of destruction. May Allaah guide and protect this ummah from all evil from within the ummah or without and the evil from within the ummah is more dangerous then the evil from without
SalafiJustice 4 years ago
no you dont protect the ummah. thats a fallacy. You create fitnah. If one does not agree with the salafi doctrine. which is an exaggerated version of the Hanbali school of law, that person is a kafir, a mushrik etc. the Prophet salla allahu alayhi wa salaam, said not to erect shrines of worship towards those who have died.. to prevent polytheism. but time and time again, these salafi deliberately misquote this hadith.. this is the basis of your salafi doctrine
pr00fishere 4 years ago
Sahih Muslim:Book 4 : Hadith 2116 Jabir said: Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) forbade that the graves should be plastered or they be used as sitting places (for the people), or a building should be built over them.
SalafiJustice 4 years ago
SalafiJustice..
Now recite the hadith, where it sunnah to pray for those at their graves. Like the prophet salla allahu alayhi wa salaam used to do for hours at a time, when one of his wives got jealous and thought he was out with anothe rof his wives, and he was actually in the cemetary praying for those who had passed away. or is your memory that bad? or are you hiding something?
pr00fishere 4 years ago
furthermore.. for your sect the wahhabis going in and destroying the tombstones and mashhads of the sahabah.. if the sahabah were alive today, they would have all of your salafi heads.. the idolaters of Makkah al Mukarramah are probably watching from the hellfire and cheering your sect on.. yes 72 will burn, 1 will be saved.. not the defacers of Al-Islam the salafi cultists..

Before you pass sentence on people, know that only god has the right to judge, award or punish. Read below and understand:
(Al-Kaafirun)
Say : O disbelievers!
I worship not that which ye worship;

And I shall not worship that which ye worship.
Nor will ye worship that which I worship.
Unto you your religion , and unto me my religion.

Dear muslim,
I respect your believes and I wish for the same.

After all, a jug of water will never fit into a teacup.
May Allaah protect this slave from ignorant and egoistic people who believe in words than the speaker.
Btw, i'm not a sufi nor do i practice it and i don't speak for sufis. I simply respect them for their philosophy.
Peace be upon you and your soul.

If that was meant as a joke, I hope it was not meant to be spiteful--you might want to rephrase it however, as those within the sufi tradition (and those who at least respect it) might interpret your statement as an insult. Just a thought.
Sarakiel 4 years ago
No,it wasn't meant to be spiteful.I have high regard for Sufis and Sufism.Their philosophy, though certainly the minority view in Islam, is one of acceptance,non-violence,and universal love.Rumi was a great human being and philosopher. All kidding aside,he would have had no problem singing or dancing to Hava Nagila, Christian gospel music,etc.etc. etc.
