Yeah, eat everything that looks good. Mämmi looks like SHIT! but it still is tasty, it's even better when you put milk in it.

Välil tulee käytyy lapissa ja ne ihmettelee siellä ku en tykkää melkei mistää niitten "herkuista". Esim. leipäjuusto, lakka/hilla, muikut jne. Ei uppoo ollenkaa.

except for the reindeer (elk might be a substitute) Ive seen all of this in Ontario and Quebec Canada. Ive even eaten most of this stuff. You Finns have taste.

Mustamakkara (black blood sausage), kalakukko (vendace fish baked inside a dark bread), mämmi, and karjalanpiirakat (Karelian pasties) are missing. :(

Crawdads (crayfish)...no can...no. nope. They may be related to lobster, but taste nothing like them in my opinion. .But it would appear I certainly wouldn't starve to death with all of the other tasty foods! Moose meat I've never had though... Birch bark? Hmmm. The cheese looks delicious, I want to try it!

@Zeeeroou I wouldnt mind, and there is nothing pervert in that. Just cultural difference. I've seen naked people around my whole life, so it's not as big deal as you think. Instead when I visited States I had to stop and think how do I "behave" for example in spa. :)

@MasterAsra i was born and i live in Belfast and quite truthfully the food is shit unless you really make everything from scratch. even the fish in restarunts are crap in taste i've never found on that i would really go back for. but i dod get to try some reindeer meat cloudberrys sammalaki and lingonberrys once and they were truly the best!
