Marriage is a terrible deal for men. Half of them end in divorce, usually instigated by the woman. The family courts then emotionally and financially eviscerate the man! Prenups can be easily overridden by judges in many jurisdictions. I think you can off lightly here, in comparison to many other men. My commiserations though. where i was born, Montreal QC Canada, prenuptial agreements are mandatory by law. I have always agreed with that because it puts everything on the table BEFORE the vows. My parents were married 32 years before they Divorced and the prenup made things go a lot easier and there was less family drama because of it. It is not just for a man to protect himself from a woman, but for BOTH parties to protect themselves.
