We see through the eyes, which are generally made with a type of mesh (like wire) and painted on. You can't see the person's eyes from the outside. Some suits you see through the tear ducts, and other mascot costumes you see through the mouth.

Amazing that Ithabise can drive in his suit.. I think he did a pretty good job of making it fairly skin tight so he can do quite a lot of things in it.

Personally driving in a fursuit is a bad idea, Three reasons:

1. Explaining to the cops wont be easy.

2. Sight of vision is decreased by around 20%

3. The trolls will get jeluuus D;..

by the way, I know mascots have the rule of "no talking while in suit" but why furries? I know its not a crime if a furry talks, but it seems that most furries don't talk! Why is that? yes it looked like a lot of fun, but speaking alone enhances the character, and can make things funner for everyone! could someone explain why most furries had adopted the mascot's rule?

I don't talk while in suit, and that is a hot topic of discussion among fursuiters. The reason I don't is because I am portraying a lion character and lions don't normally talk. It also makes it more challenging to convey everything using hand gestures & body movements. Using my human voice with Kijani doesn't seem right to me, but as you can see others talk freely in suit, I don't think there's really a right/wrong way to approach it. But Synth's moveable jaw makes it really look in character.

Ahh crap dude I'm really sorry! This was an incredibly spur-of-the-moment thing, like the morning of when Synth called me and asked me to pick him up from the train station... and we were really tight on time since I had to work late that afternoon.

Next time though for sure. Always a blast suiting with you!

well i havent seen anny thing in the drivers hand book that says furrsuit driveing is ilegal ,so i guess it is not,,i just wanted to know hard it is in a fur suit,, it looks fun

It is probably technically aloud but some cops could have a problem with it. I also would not want to very far like that due to the loss of field of vision.

Oh it is VERY illegal. You can't wear anything that impacts your field of vision while operating a vehicle, kind of like how you can't wear headphones while driving because you can't hear sirens from emergency vehicles.

The drive was about 1/2 mile down the road though and Ithabise gets tremendous fursuit vision in his suit, so he felt it was safe and we trusted him. It all depends on your particular suit, I know I would never do it because my field of vision is horrible.
