we should cure straights because 1) there are WAY too many. I know this person said 10%, but I think studies suggest more around 2-3%. 2) We just hit 7 billion people and are still growing fast. Now what people mean, is in the same way that no one chooses to be straight, or bi, or transgendered, or any other gender - is the exact same way that someone is gay; BORN THIS WAY, is kinda the whole point of Lady Gaga's single and album. - I could say more; but YouTube's got a limit.

Normalcy is an illusion. Anyone with a basic understanding of psychology or sociology knows that what we call "normal" is nothing more than the tendency of the majority of the people around us. It's what most of the people in our environment do most of the time. Were the majority of people in a place to be consistently homosexual at least most of the time, that would be considered "normal" there. Therefore, any argument about "natural states", etc, are arrogant, narrow-minded and invalid.

Great! I've said the exact same thing exactly the way you put it. I know the heterosexual guys always say "well I don't want to convert to homosexuality or there's nothing wrong with heterosexual that's natural" - I immediately say "that's not the point - My point is that even if you wanted to you could not become homosexual" Thanks for this post!

Being gay is not by choice, much like being born with blond hair and blue eyes. It is part of you. You carry it where ever you go. It is part of your characteristics that differentiates you from other people.
"Gay" is also a characteristic you are born with. You don't choose it, you're just born with it.

I can't imagine that people would just be born gay. For me it doesn't make sense. Nature tells you that it is not the way to live if we want the himan race to continue. I think there must have been some kind of homosexual experience from a young age
