  • @jenne888 Thanks!

  • Looks like a Bond villain's lair lol

  • Hye man

you have really the best analog synths of the world

in your home-studio. all my prefer synths are here

Moog and Prophet are my Prefer , they must be played like that !!!

Do you have or sell some recording? it would be a pleasure to listen the pure sounds of your synths on my stereo...

So this title is just inspiration , it's not a Los.Angeles 1997 track?

    my stereo

  • @cbass909 Thanks! No, not a cover, just inspired by Carpenter's soundtracks.

  • @br0therl0c0

Hey Man , Your Track is Really amazing and You need to do Something with it ...

I'll go to try to send that to Mr Carpenter Himself , he need to ear that.

Continue with you influence but you must Played your track for a next Good Horror Movie... Take your Chance and send your demo in Hollywood studio and all Horror producers... I think you can make something , that's sure man

  • And I thought my 12-strings guitar was a tuning nightmare. Guess you don't EVER turn the babies off, amirite? .-D

Great setup, pal. Brings back images. Wait, it's 30 years already?

  • @IlBiggo Ha! Thank you. Actually my Guild 12-string is a lot harder to tune than my synths. These are all newly built and have very nice temperature stabilized oscillators. They just need to warm up for 5 or 10 minutes.

  • Sehr geil !! Den Taurus brauche ich auch noch ;-)

  • @Synthstyle69 Vielen Dank! Der neue Moog Minitaur auch sieht toll aus.

  • John Carpenter need Hear that... I was in a trip Man !!! All this Prophet and Moog Sounds travel in My Head and I love that so Much... Carpenter Music is fantstic and all this synths too. Moog Taurus bass is Amazing... Thanks to this Pleasure

  • @cbass909 You're welcome! Glad you enjoyed it.

  • Can I move in?? I have some synths of my own, and a good DAW...

  • @stryker1999 Ha! Not much room for more synths here, but glad you liked the vid.

  • very nice!

  • @bifase7 Thank you!

  • Amazing stuff!!! - A fantastic alternative to EFNY John Carpenter would be proud.

  • @Gallifrey79 Thank you, appreciate that!

  • What is your electricity bill like lol

  • Grandma died and left me a a college fund but instead of going to skool I spent it all on building a studio outside me mums house in the back garden shed. I then filled it chock full of every modern analog synth available and now make music that sounds like it was composed 40 years ago. Mind you I never leave the shack cept to defecate and and eat breakfast when mum calls....sometimes I might shower...cheerio!

  • Complimenti bellissimo

  • @Starinthesky747 Grazie!

  • Very nicely imagined. Sort of reminds me in places of Tangerine Dream's Encore CD. Nice 1

  • @TheMetaphysics Thanks very much for the nice comment. Encore is a phenomenal album, I appreciate the reference!

  • Every modern synth demo I hear on Youtube proclaims it's instrument to be "powerful" and "expressive". But it's all just high tech digital swooshing and washes of reverb. The original sound generation methods in the new keyboards are thin and tinny. This is what synths should sound like. Beautiful work.

  • @mindstormsabrewin Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the vid. It really is true, the raw power of an analog mono can do so much by itself, no FX needed.

  • You have a mind-blowing set-up! Sounds amazing...I would never want to leave my house If I had a studio like that...Best wishes and keep up the great tunes!

  • @embrassemoi04 Thanks very much! I appreciate the comment.

  • Can I come over, and Jam out with you sometime! I been making beats since I was 14, now I'm 26.

  • Wow~! You sure are stuck in the 80s!

  • simply beautiful!!

  • @gattyas Hey, thanks!

  • looks like a spaceship o_O

  • space lab baby

  • WHAT THE FUCK ?!? xd

  • A life without gear lust would suck! I would be bored to death :p

  • Looks like the inside of a UFO ! Lol

  • STRAIGHT FROM HELL! (if this is what you are trying to post...)

  • Really nice tune man! :D

  • crazy gear man, nice vid!

  • @kontube Thank you!

  • howly ... I'd kill someone for that gear lol

  • probably NOT in need of heating your room lol

    I'm not jealous

    I'm not jealous

    ;-)

  • @janxenjanxen I hear ya. However, a life without gear lust would suck!

  • @br0therl0c0 That's why i just bought enough gear for my music too ;-)

  • It looks like you're in a spaceship :D

  • @1NT3RL1NK Ha! I get that a lot :-)

  • wow good work on this track

  • @keesvangelis Thanks!

  • Beautiful work. Amazing setup. There's something great about hardware based synth music. When you have physical equipment around you you are tangibly connected to what you hear. Computer based sequencing (I use Logic) feels sterile and lifeless. The sounds in Logic are OK but they lack immediacy. And they all sound like they have the same digital sheen to them. No heart. having actual keyboards and drum machines and oscillators, etc., around you makes you feel like a part of the music.

  • @mindstormsabrewin You pretty much summed up the way I feel. Although plenty of talented people can make great electronic music in a computer, I find myself so much happier in front of physical instruments, not to mention raw, real analog ones :-)

  • Holy S**T now that's one serious set up & a great dark track to ( * L * )

  • @igreentraveller Thank you!

  • Man, i wish I had a setup like yours. Music like that takes me back to the good old days of electronica. Awesome. Totally awesome.

  • @nemisysone Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.

  • nice machinery, educational video, good sequencing!

  • @thelanxinator Thanks very much!

  • That was brilliant - thanks!!

  • @PerseusTraxx Thanks for the nice comment! Glad you liked it.

  • deep... very nice

    thanks

  • @mikeeheart303 Thanks very much!

  • Cool. And you even look a little like Snake Plissken!

  • @instantknut Ha! Thank you. Maybe I'll add an eye patch next time :-)

  • fantastic! i love your cockpit.sweet!

  • @Caknobs Ha! Thanks very much :-)

  • If your room looks like a spaceship, and sounds like a (cool) spaceship. Then you clearly aren't married. Nice retro sounding music, loving it!

  • @SLagerZahne Thank you!

  • Well done, you've really captured the spirit of Carpenter's work -simplicity was always the key to holding the viewers/listeners in suspense. Similarly, the early German (Berlin) synth-based bands kept to the same style, initially out of necessity (lack of choice in the synth market) but continued with what was obviously both a popular and winning style.

  • @jazomir Thanks very much. I couldn't agree with you more that this music is all about the careful crafting of simple elements. I've never found it easy to do, but love it when it works.

  • Cool...very "Dark Star" :) Killer Bass sounds! Like!

  • @lordoid Dark Star! Nice. Thank you.

  • @1218omaroo Thanks for the nice comment! The Berlin guys were certainly the masters of analog modular synths. I'm just happy to have the opportunity to try and do something interesting with the same type of gear. Cheers!

  • @PukkatronicAllstars Thanks so much!

  • This is so cool. You really do sound like a lost John Carpenter score. The blinking lights make it look like you are in a pinball machine =)
