I saw the film when i was 14 or whatever- BBC 2 (it's only dated a little- far superior to other plays in the sesson).

One or two fools don't seem to get it. The point is, Trev is intelligent enough to know the world is fucked up (and has fucked him) and he is rightly resentful of that and he's clever at fucking the world back- but he is small and the the state etc is bloody big- so however clever he is , he just fucks himself up while pratting about those who may help him a little.
