  • Was the guy who fell off of the boat one of the time bandit crew? Or was he from a different boat?

  • wow real men doing real jobs

  • real men!!!!

  • real men!! Good job!

  • Strong stuff. Best show

  • from ship hunting to crab hunting, im watching

  • These men are heroes..God Bless..

  • wich season is this?

  • @koenaldinho 4 ithink

  • these people are the toughest basterds you will ever see, besides war vets

  • why didnt his OWN boat save him? i dont get it? and how did the time bandit get over there that fast? and how did he end up hanging all the way down there?

  • @meda789 they did circle to get the man, but the huge fishing boat can't turn on a dime.

  • @meda789 his own boat was moving away from him and bandit didn't only see him go in they were basiccaly moving towards him luckily enough and were able to get to him very quickly. even that fast the overboard crewman was on his way out when they were yanking his ass onto the deck.

  • @bshaun2 ok but why didnt his own boat from him one of those circle floaty things that are attached to a roap? and if time bandit wasnt there, his own boat wouldnt have thrown something in to save him? it just doesnt make sense.

  • @meda789 he was chaining the pots together. his boat didnt have time to turn around to get to him, and the time bandit saw him fall and moved to action. they did good.

  • @afccapt07 why is he out there chaining pots if its a risk or is it normal to hang off the side of a boat?

  • @meda789 because if he didnt they could lose the crab pots which are like $2500.00 dollars each or the pots could slide around on the deck and hurt crew members or cause damage to the boat its self.

  • I live here with the Time Bandit and many others....It ain't no joke people!

  • Wow, that guy was toast. Great work, the crew who saved his life.

  • SIMPLY AWESOME....OUTSTANDING!

  • after saving the sailor's life, the time bandit went on to pull nothing but 100+ crab pots, the best they'd ever done and they won the captain's wager. a just reward for true heroism. i'm usually a northwestern fan but the time bandit really outdid themselves here!

  • Wow, A lot of people don't understand how hard it is to turn a boat of that size around. They don't turn on a dime people. By the time his captain had gotten the boat turned around to go back to get him, he would have already frozen to death. Also what is with all of the people claiming this is scripted and staged. There is no script. What you see is what actually happens on a day to day basis as a fisherman. That's why it's such a dangerous job to be a crab fisherman.

  • Awesome

  • I still tear up watching this, thinking of all those who weren't fortunate enough to have alert bystanders near enough to save them: sons, husbands, fathers... It's good to watch the statistics lose once in a while.

  • @Raiderfan1slut As if its fake u raider fag! they turned the boat round as soon as they could. Grow a set you GOAT!!

  • @Raiderfan1slut they didn't know he was overboard until time bandit called up! plus they were steaming and it takes a while to get the boat around......they had not time to start their own before time bandit reached him.

  • 4:33 bet he's happy to be alive :)

  • Way to go captan Hats off to you and your crew .

  • whos here from the Simon Sinek Speech?

  • wow thankgod he did not die

  • They need an attractive woman omboard to warm the men up if shit like this happends :)

  • @12345678909269 Not offense, thats a horrible idea

  • Imagine what that would be like hanging of the side of a boat trying to make a living the 5 seconds later be in ice cold water with giant waves over your head then to get rescued by people doing the exact same job as u and get so touched when they save u that they are almost in tears.... WOW is all I can say

  • He's really cute. Too cute to die! :P I loved how quick they moved to save him! Soo cool :)

  • Brings a tear to my eye when Captain Johnathon hugs the Josh and Josh thanks him for saving his life. Now this is a REAL reality show! Powerful stuff.

  • @viperchilli I totally agree with you. Shit, first clip I ever watched of this show, and i'm all chocked up.

  • Why do they hide the name of the other boat?

  • Best moment on "Deadliest Catch" EVER!

    Damn! I love this show!

  • 8 (+ if more people dislike this) , 8 people have no hearts... or souls.

  • has that guy , the one who almost drowned ever been interviewed abou the incident? this show rocks i loved the real emotion , it makes you feel like you are right there !

  • even the camera man went in to pat him on the back

  • that was great !

  • Man this gave me goosebumps, the best captain, with the best crew on the greatest boat in the Bering sea!

  • Deadliest Catch is one of the few REAL reality shows left on tv because there is no way you could script something like this.

  • That was too intense, it's shows like this that give TV a good dose of decency.

  • zoek maar eens " Fang des Lebens - Der gefährlichste Job Alaskas " is ook deadliest catch maar dan duits.. voor de mensen die meer willen zien ;)

  • The single most dramatic and emotional moment on this series.

  • ''the drowning man'' I though you had to know how to swim if you were going to have that job

  • @krollaostmedburger I hope you're being a smartass

  • @paintballman19 ok I actually regret posting that. The water is Ice cold, you get cramp and all that. Of course he will drown if someone's not helping him.

  • That guy is so lucky the Time Bandit Capt and crew were watching him. If they weren't watching he would have been dead.

  • the 8 people who disliked this have no fuckin heart what so ever

  • teared up at 4:30 watching this on the scariest shit special last night. it was 3am don't judge me.

  • rockndude87 Haha nicely put :)

  • then i saw his face tra-la-la-laa now i'm a believer.... pfff that man is freaking lucky!!!

  • My grandpa wasthe first guy n a scene where two guys fel out of their kayaks in rough water 200ft out on the Puget Sound. One guy was already dead and the other one was severly hypothermic. NOT a pretty sight.

  • time bandit rules!

    Im ordering a shirt

  • y em seamen to

    respect

  • i had to swim after a bout on a 19 degree morning duck hunting in full coat and all. one of the worst experiences of my life... people dont realize how amazing the human body actually is... you can do almost anything if it's life threatening

  • Thats one lucky dude.

  • watch?v=prN_wuiumHM

  • That was amazing. They knew he shouldn't be out there he is lucky they were watching.

  • omg that's fkn cold water lmfao

  • my dad worked up there 13 years. i dont know how he survived it. one tough man

  • an acted scene? yeah he went against 1000 to 1 odds and risked hyperthemia and his life for a good scene on TV. Jesus thats about the dumbest thing i`ve heard any fool say........well EVER to be honest. fucking jackass.

  • the time bandits are real men

  • @Fralick11 Do you even have any experience in this kind of situation? I didn't think so, A man almost lost his life and all you can say is he is a bad actor, that guy was clearly shaken up quite a bit, he was just beginning to experience hypothermia, and he is extremely lucky he had the courageous people on board the time bandit there to save him, and the only thing that SHOULD have come out of your mouth was "good job guys." but I do agree that this is an excellent show.

  • @Fralick11 then you jump in that water your idiot

  • @Fralick11 Oh, and I suppose Jersey Shore and those stupid housewives shows are good acting? You can clearly see Jonathan is shaking, really. My dad fished his whole life, working his way to captain of his own boat, so believe me when I say the last thing they have time for is faking rescues, and they would never fake something so serious just for "Good T.V."

  • @Fralick11 Do I have to throw in the fucking water without a survival suit?!?! Of course it's bad acting, because they ARE NOT ACTORS!! They are fishermen that risk their lives in one of the world's worst dangerous climates.

  • @Fralick11

    You're too smart by half.

    This was the real thing.

Or have you forgotten the guy on the Early Dawn who got pulled over the side by a swinging pot and was rescued on camera?

    Get a life, dude.

  • Ahhhh thats just lovely!! :D

  • Respect. All I gotta say.

  • @MrToiletface

you wouldn't last 10 minutes in their job.

  • @MrToiletface Wow!!...You're a real macho tough guy, aren't you?? Are you the construction worker from the Village People?? Or only an unemployed troll living in you're parents' basement jurking off to porn and going around YT leaving retarded comments??

  • @caporalchef4 lol u owned him

  • @caporalchef4

    KATHUD!

  • @MrToiletface Fucking useless troll... Get a life.

  • is it just me or the guy at 5:20 look like the Guy From My Name is Earl even when he's like did you hear that Andy, i didn't know he works 2 jobs lol

  • coolest show ever , in your face action . time bandit crew . what can i say . you show the rest of the world what hard works all about . i truly respect all the guys who face danger . crabs get ready time bandit on there way

  • There's dislikes. Why?

  • Comment removed

  • no one understands what these guys go through. thank you discovery for showing us the hardships these men face. i will eat crab with respect from now on

  • Awesome man, true brotherhood. Thank you guys

  • Yes some of it was faked, they only had one camera on board and andy put it down to help get josh on board. they reinacted part of it for tv. the show does that a lot because they don't catch everything so they have you do it again. the proof is there Josh is only about 5 foot 9 the guy over the rail is over 6foot 3

  • fucking heroes

  • Any exuse to take is top of. tuh >.> ;P

  • That's tough, but it's great

  • good job man...

  • I love watching that rough shit in a warm bed with hot chocolate

  • @RabosTroll I like watching this shit with the wind blowing through my house with a hint of snow in my oil pants one and a cig going.

  • @RabosTroll cause you're a fat fuckin slob

  • You can't fake this. You can't act this. Amazing show.

  • I doubt if people realize just how alive they are until they get close to death.

  • I'll bet that ol' Josh was wondering if there was a better way to make money.

  • I am so glad that they saved that poor fellow,

I am also glad that the cameras were there to film it for people to see and be less homophobic...

  • @Xelastic lucky guy, but its people like this who are going to ruin the population for the future

  • mother fucker he must have been cold.................. colder than a whores heart.

  • @jetshull You really think that's appropriate?

  • @Bumblybee256 yes, yes i do i was just trying to convey to the viewers how cold it must have been, excuse my industrial language.

  • @jetshull Yeah, because it's perfectly ok to use the word 'whore'.No misogny behind that at all, right?

  • hero''s:)

that was a great move of the captain to keep an eye on the guy on the other ship.

experience can save lives, thats obvious now.

  • All other reality TV can't hold a candle to this.

  • This show is # fucking 1 hands down!!! RIP Cpt. Phil Harris! I can't wait for the new one and yes you below me...fuck jersey shore!!! Deadliest Catch baby!!! Wooohoooo!!!!!

  • Fuck Jersey Shore, THIS is good television.

  • @rhcpguitarar sure!!!!!!!!!!!! f*ck jersey shore, love deathliest catch!

  • @rhcpguitarar That's because this is real reality, not scripted. I'll never understand why people like fake reality. Like I really care about a bunch of self centered idiots who drink, argue and sleep around all the time. That could never compare to saving a persons life, or the real brotherhood these guys . I have enough real drama in my life without having to watch fake stuff.

  • @rhcpguitarar Jersey Shore gives people herpes...this show gives people crabs... One is curable! Deadliest Catch Rocks!

  • @rhcpguitarar i will stab you

  • @UGKNewff I will titty fuck your mom

  • @rhcpguitarar sure you will tuff guy suck my sweaty cock

  • What do u think happens after we die?

  • @sluggo06 total darkness

  • @sluggo06 You rot in the ground.

  • Comment removed

  • @sluggo06

your body dies , but you are not your body.

your body is a temple, a way to communicate to higher dimensions..

you are a part of the eternal energy that makes up the universe.

    you cannot die .

only forget what you are now..

but does that even matter , i dunno we found out soon..

  • @ImmortalUniverse Actually, you are your body because you are your brain and your brain is part of your body.

  • Comment removed

  • @ImmortalUniverse Sorry, it's not really a matter of opinion- it's where the evidence points. Damage/abnormalities to certain parts of the brain cause changes in personality/ memory/mannerisms/religious feeling etc etc (ie things that humans identify as making up the 'mind'). The 'energy' you talk about is not you, it will leave your corpse as heat without a conscious thought.

  • Comment removed

  • @ImmortalUniverse Lol. Wow. I see someone has no background in science whatsoever. NO, you are not me. You are a completely separate brain.

  • Comment removed

  • @ImmortalUniverse Lol, no the issue here is that you are delusional. If you took an injury to teh frontal cortex I'm sure you'd get my point. Go easy on the LSD, you don't even know what the word 'energy' means.

  • Comment removed

  • @ImmortalUniverse Lmao, that's no way for an 'enlightened' being to talk to a stranger over the web. What a puddle of bullshit you live in

.I'm simply challenging your claims and clearly you can't handle that, as everyone can observe from your little tantrum.

PS: there's no such thing as 'negative energy'.

  • Comment removed

  • @ImmortalUniverse It was in inverted commas, dear. You're about as 'enlightened' as my sock.

Yeah, good thing I'm in my neuroscience degree so I avoid being taken down by the bullshit you'll believe.

  • Comment removed

  • @ImmortalUniverse Yes, I imagine education must be hard to imagine where you come from. Very defensive, aren't you?

  • Comment removed

  • @ImmortalUniverse Really? That's all you have? The contribution of Dutch words to street names in America? Lol I don't come from America, idiot. People like you truly do have split brains. Not a clue.

  • @Bumblybee256

says the brave little you tube warrior from behind his pc.

i dont care your not from America ,your just as arogant anyways.

lol jeez you think i actually gonna take time to look at your stupid bio page.

your just a nobody in my eyes a spoiled little momma's kid talking tuff in momma's dark basement.

    lol

    poor boy.

  • @ImmortalUniverse I'm female, genius. Ah yes, I'm arrogant yet you're the on who seems to believe I care what they think AND has nothing better to do than stalk people's profiles.

  • @Bumblybee256

no your not ,your just a cunt with legs .

females are sweet, your not even close.

  • @ImmortalUniverse Oh dear, problems with women too. You're just a collection of emotional problems, aren't you?

  • @Bumblybee256 listen i really love to talk to you. well i actually dont . and i know lonely fat women love to talk for hours but i really got to go to sleep. some people have jobs in the morning and are not living the easy life of a drunk student. so see ya. and good luck with that 'neuro degree'. see what i did?
  • @ImmortalUniverse Lol, delusional people are always quick to flatter themselves. Your obnoxiousness, quickness to anger and abandonment of reason all amuse me but I understand you have to be up for your 6am McDonalds shift. I'll think of you in my pharmacology lab next week.

  • @Bumblybee256

people at mc donald's atleast dont need mommie to pay for the xbox and make up.

    lol

yeah you go think of me on your first paper job next week.

then you have something to look up to.

i dont see a 3500 dollar tv on your profle pic.

take a long look at mine.

thats what you can buy from a real job in 1 month.

, not from a stupid wet student dream like yours.

  • @ImmortalUniverse Lol I have neither. Sorry, dear, but I'm above and beyond what you could hope to achieve and no amount of attempted insults from you will make that less obvious, quite the opposite. I find it hilarious that you think flaunting your technology makes you someone to look up to and that $3500 a month is a good salary. lol. Keep up the jokes.

  • @Bumblybee256 I apologize for this. A few youtubers here in America live just to be assholes. Please don't start believing all us Americans are idiots and assholes. Again sorry for this misrepresentation made by Immortal.

  • @MrLastlived Oh I don't at all, that's very sweet of you. I'm kind of embarrassed that I kept replying lol.

  • @Bumblybee256 What i don't understand is why he deleted almost all his replies about his belief but kept the ones that were making him look like a prick.

  • these guys are big heroes the best show ever hello from cyprus

  • them guys are heros

  • the best show ever

  • Comment removed

  • @MijanneEsbjerg you explain your own stupidity

  • wow, I'm so not a crier as a person but, wow.. My cheeks are all wet :( Great f-ing job Time bandit! All these fishermen have SUCH a tight bond, and the boat doesn't even matter!

  • I think it was the guys 30th birthday.

Not to take away, but what that guy was pretty dumb\dangerous. I hope he learned his lesson.

  • "last times we pulled a dead guy out of the water"....

  • Love love love these Men!!! They care about each other and work as a family. You watch your crews back and they'll look after you.

  • Even the cameraman (black coat) dropped his camera to help. Amazing footage!

  • 4:30 o kurwa, łzy mam w oczach...

  • Fuck yea. Humanity FTW!

  • I really like that captain. He's got heart. The older you get, the more you appreciate life, and the life of others. At least I do, and I could see it in this captain's actions.

  • Time Bandit = AWESOME

Jonathan and Andy live in the town that I do (about 1,800 people) here in Alaska and I grew up with, and went to school with, Mike Fourtner. In fact, Andy's wife just bought my truck the day before yesterday. All are awesome guys.

Bummer what transpired with the TB in regards to the Discovery Channel. I wish that this would be resolved so that the TB would be on the show again, but for some reason, I'm doubting that will happen...sad.

  • @fireAKems don't worry they worked everything out and filming has already started! The show would not be the same without the Time Bandit and Northwestern. It's sad enough that Capt. Phil passed away, but he would be proud of them for working it out.

  • when do he pass away? Cpt Phil

  • @fireAKems what happened for them not to be on the show any more?

  • @airmatt86 They will be on the show, dont worry.

  • that boy lucky he aint die

  • Thank God the Cpt of the Time Bandit was keeping an eye on him, geez poor guy.

  • Epic ... Quick response much

  • 4 guys that drowned dislike this in the afterlife

  • I almost cry every time I see this. All the emotion from saving a man and such a tight-knit feel.

  • only a bit fucking mental!!!!
