And Nigeria in WWI? those were british forces, and the Germans in Togoland was only a small police force. And in Kamerun, 1000 Germans held off a force of almost 20,000 until French and British naval forces bombarded the capital. quite a huge win for you I'm sure.

@jadger1871 What's wrong with the Reserves? Just because we don't do as much as the Reg. Force doesn't mean we're not as good. Many people, like myself, use the Reserves as "School" to start off their Military Career. The only Difference is the Reserves allows people to enlist a a younger age, and we do less training than the Reg's. Most of us don't even get offended by being called Weekend Warriors We're all members of the Canadian Forces, just some of us are at a "lower class"

@u452u How many joint exercises have you been on with the reg force? believe me, there is a clear quality gap between reg force and reserves. When I was in Afghanistan, we hated working with the reservists that were attached to us, we often left them on the FOB while we went on patrol. True, you can enlist at a younger age, but the majority of 18-19 year olds in the military I have seen do not have the maturity required for our job, let alone 16-17 year olds.

@johnnyvincentfan Its the standard uniform. Since they aren't there to fight no real need for them to wear Arid Region CADPAT. Air Force personal on bases in hotter areas wear the "Relish"/Woodland CADPAT if they are deployed to a tropical climate. If you are fighting a ground war sure wear the Arid Region, they are there to train. When PPCLI firs deployed to Afghanistan when the war began they had the woodland uniforms and reported in some cases it worked better then Arid Region CADPAT.

Before even clicking on this video I was expecting a comment war comparing the US and Canada. The CF are excellent fighters, they are deployed to some of the most dangerous places in the world. Even for their small size of about 60,000 (NYPD is about the same size) the CF are damn good fighters. And of course the US has an excellent armed forces.
