I loved this as a child. I watched all the episodes multiple times, and i could remember the song by heart. I l-o-v-e-d, loved it.

This show was my guilty pleasure when I was a kid. I was a total tomboy and watched WWF, but damn, I loved the shit out of this show. Especially because Sailor Moon was the voice and the opening song was so deep.

This is a weird Cartoon,Not only does this cartoon Have Usagi's voice Actress Terri Hawks from the Dic Version of Sailor Moon,but BGM From The Saban Version of Digimon Season 1 @_@

@ChronoArcAile4000 Actually, this cartoon was created two years before Digimon. In 1997 this cartoon was dubbed in several languages and Digimon first aired in Japan in 1999. So if the music is the same, then I would say that Digimon has the bgm from Sissi.. But it is possible that Saban used the same music for more series.

@seandeaon It's based on Empress Elizabeth of Austria, a.k.a. Sissi. She married Francis-Joseph when she was 16 years old. The characters in the series are based on real persons, but most of the storylines are made up. There are also 3 german movies about Sissi with Romy Schneider as Sissi.

@robindy There are a lot of differences in the characters. Empress Sophia didn't like Sissi and so on, but it wouldn't have made such a fun cartoon then. :P I'm not exactly sure Zato existed either. lol

I must admit the American dubber is terrible..both for Sissi as well as Sailor Moon (Terry Hawkes the name right?) You should hear the Italian versions of both cartoonS. Sissi is dubbed by The Little Mermaid (ARIEL)'s dubber, while SERENA (Sailor Moon) is dubbed by KRisten Stewart's dubber in the TWILIGHT SAGA!!!

@MisaMisuMajide I'm Dutch :) I've already tried to rip with a tutorial on youtube and it worked, but the quality was horrible. I think I found another way to rip the dvd's and I was actually planning on trying it today. If it works, then I'll upload the first two episodes in english and sub the rest of my dutch episodes. I'll do my best, but I can't quarantee that it'll work!
