@Trish312 Great idea on the animated vines. I'll have to find some good vine images. I'm trying to figure out why it won't work for you. I tried it over and over and it seems to work for me every way I try it. In short, I cannot duplicate your issue.
@c130bulldawg You have a Mac right? I have a Dell XPS 17 with windows 7. I am going to try re-installing my PSE 9 and see if that helps. But I still can't figure out why it wont save correctly. ,................bumming....
You are persistent. I'm sorry I was unable to help you through it as I was at work. The unlocking layer, you figured out. It is just double-clicking on the lock on the layer and selecting OK when the Layer 0 dialog box appears. I should have also figured out that you weren't looking at the gif in IE or Firefox.
Unfortunately, gifs are not readable by video editing programs. What program will you be using for video?
Chuckie – Excellent tip and it made the work flow so much easier then pulling each one in and by hand trying to resize. I was able to get a 12pic series done in less than 5 minutes and only 700k. Thanks!
Another home run! Thanks. My son plays high school football and I take action sequences with my DSLR I am working on putting together some animations of plays. They end up being way to large with 9 images about 1 meg so to large to put on a web site. If I would make the original document smaller and then shrink my photos to fit will that result in a smaller file?
@flyerhere Use the high res images to make the different layers of the animation. Then, resize the image to something smaller like 8 x 10 at 72 or 96 ppi. Then, do a save for web. It should make it small enough to upload to a Web site. I think I will shoot some other sequences and make another video that shows how to make it smaller.
Thanks for this! Would you do a tutorial on replacing a face or adding a person to a group photo? :-)
