Off course Sonata Arctica isn´t the same without Jani, because Jani and Elias aren´t the same.

But Sonata still being good, and I think every fan of them, must give a chance to Elias and Cain's Offering as the new Jani's band.

Just gave SA and CO some time and you´ll see both are great with their style.

you know every one is bashing sonata for not being the same without jani, well I have seen sonata 5 times live 3 with jani, 2 with elias, and they are still just as good live with elias as they were with jani, at first elias wasn't as crowd friendly but he got a lot better, second jani did have a solo project called sydanpuu, and I have met the guys and Elias is not as much of a raging drunk that jani was, and I do agree tony is the heart and soul of the band, not whomever he chose to play guitr

jani had a civic duty in finland, every one is required to go into the military, and he chose to not go and he had to spend some time in a jail like place for like 8 months, so it was mutual between jani and tony that he leave the band

Alexi just plays at speeds he's comfortable at to minimize how fake the album sounds, which is a quality dragonforce definately lacks seen as how all the members of the band are wankers who think theyre king shit at their instruments

Bodom are about the metal and the music, whereas Dragonforce are in it to show off and earn as much money as possible because they dont give half a shit about the music
