Hey mike how did you hit the 3 ball i cant seem to get the cue ball to move that way after hitting the object ball. i just started playing a few months ago. Thanks
Nice exercises you have filmed there mikie. I'll add these to my practice routines, especially those Predator school stuff which I think is more "match related" than PAT which is of course a good basic skill workout
Yes, I gave it lots of inside english, and since that will cause the cue ball to die off the foot rail, it's necessary to give the cue ball a strong, confident stroke with lots of follow through. I love this shot.
Thanks for viewing, and for the excellent question. Enjoy!
Thank you Fast Mike for taking the time to answer my question. I always have to overcut the shot when I use Inside because I always hit it too full. I will definitely add these drills to my home practice. Beautiful home by the way!
You really just need half a tip or so of right English on that shot and mostly top. You'll notice he pockets the 3 ball in the right hand side of the pocket mostly due to the deflection the English caused on the cue ball. If he would have hit it with less english and more follow, he would have gotten the same result but with more accuracy - the less english you use when hitting the ball hard the better.
Great position drill. how do u get those dot u have on the table? i alway u chalk on my bable and tnks for ur videos and drills that have help me improve my game game 100% tnks and please dont stop doing more videos

@spit19153 For the 3 ball shot, I used high inside (right) english, lots of follow through.

A way to make it FAR harder--and even more useful practice: Do it all without the cueball hitting any rails.

this drill is much tougher than it looks. if you get lazy on the two balls closest to the spot the drill is over.

Great drill. I can see where it would hone your skills on coming up on the "right side of the ball". I'm gonna go practice it now.

When you hit the 3 ball did you use inside English? On my table i tried the shot and my cueball always dies on the first rail. Any advice?

Paper reinforcement rings perfect for marking the table (cheap, won't dirty your table).

you should have used two rail position when going for the five ball.... it offers you a larger margin for error...
good drill though.
