I think people would get bored trying to get all those gems before passing to next level. I suggest you make enemies, health or lives and change the sprites.

it might be because on the sprite you have precise collision on or something. If that doesnt work duplicate the sprite and on that sprite draw a rectangle over the character then go to the characters object and go to mask and choose the sprite that you just made. hope it helps
Well, I think some people could make a cool game out of the maze tutorial, but I think this one is... well... for what people think of making games, OK. And besides, serprex, don't flame please :)
its alright but it needs enemies and you could have more items to pick up like keys or money.

This is worse than the maze tutorial. GM can do much more than this, but creations like this flood it into a state where it isn't taken seriously
