  • iseee its the child of krakatoa.

  • Some people thinks that footage is good but may people

are dispointed if they expect a big or deadly eruption footage.

We can not blem him as it depends on a technic how we

advertize or show up than fact to have our attentions.

You might have been looking for some footages which are

big, deadliy or tramatic eruptions which are very difficult

to shoot unless you live just under the foot of the volcano

as most of the deadly explosive eruptions sease in less than

3 days. Please visit my youtube

  • Hi, My volcano lovers and eruption chasers like me in the world.

I can see most of the coments below are extremely bad except

very few for past 2 years since RCOOKER1977's footage has

been on loaded. I agree of them but there is a reason...why...?

How many people saw this footage in 2 years=118,936 and gave

coments 97 no..98 includong mine while critical ones are only 6

which may not include yours or people who watch after me from today.

He did a good successful job. continue P-2

  • and u lived to tell the story together with your waterproof camera

  • There wasnt cameras in 1833

  • caraca q issso

  • """The explosion could be heard 3,000km away just like the original explosion in 1883. Our boat subsequently capsized when the wave hit us ten minutes later."""

I beg your pardon?! a bit exaggerated isn't it? The explosions are clearly heard 3 km away from the volcano but that's all. No tsunami, no capsized boat, in 2009 the eruptions were quite big but not as big as in november 2010!

  • wow, it was amazing to see that the mountain became ''white'' after the blast. Must be the shockwave blasting dust/ash in the air

  • HII KARLA AND WHO EVER IS WORKING WITH US :D LOL THIS IS OLIVIA FROM SCHOOL shhuush dont click on my name

  • i watched something like this in class today thats why i searched it up :P biggest and deadliest VOLCANO IN THE WORLD

  • socialnetworking website: facebook

  • sounds like mario breakin a bunch a briks. yes briks

  • I doubt THIS explosion could be heard over 3000km away. The 1883 explosion was a 'perfect storm' scenario. I don't deny that it made a lot of noise, but so far, Anak Krakatau is too small to recreate its' predecessor's destructive power

  • why your kamera sound perrrrrrrrrrr!! ?

  • Doing homework on this didn't help at all...

But still enjoyed the video!!! :D

  • @trashthewoman ur a lier ur just jelous u can't film something like that

  • @bluey2100 what? i commented on the vid in a nice way you turd :/ golly

  • And here I'm sitting thinking it was a particle effect using the program Krakatoa....

  • beautiful....

  • Baby-Krakatoa...Gotta go...

  • And it's starting to grow 15 ft per year, so if I'm right, we may have another super volcanic eruption.

  • hola

  • INDONESIAN VOLCANO

  • @IKurtC. You need to do your homework - it's the re-birth of the same volcano you idiot.

  • nice vid but you're description is too exaggerated, no way near the original krakatoa,

  • this is amazing until it big eruption......

  • The sound is like a long fart

  • Comment removed

  • That's not krakatoa! The Krakatoa eruption was heard from over 2,000 miles away! If that was kraktoa, I'd be deaf from watching this video! Besides Krakatoa was way bigger than that puny volcano! And the cloud of ash blocked out the sun for hours! Skrew you guys! I'm in 6th grade!!!! You can't freaking outsmart a 12 year old! You suck!!!

  • @Dudemanous1 And another thing. This happened in 2009. The real eruption happened like a long time ago!

  • @Dudemanous1 yeah yeah , this is "Anak Krakatoa" not "Krakatoa"

You will learn this in 1st of secundary :P

  • @Dudemanous1 by the way , the cloud of ash blocked out he sun for days.

And the explosion destroyed 1/2 of the island

  • @Dudemanous1 krakatoa is an island in indonesia not the acutal event that you are talking about in 1883..you suck

  • @Dudemanous1 Krakatoa was destroyed. Then a new cone was built, which is the one we see. There is no trace of the old volcano.

  • @MrBrandonXP theres islands around it makeing the old volcanos crator and were it collapsed

  • Siigh!!!

  • Anak Krakatau inspired me to make a song...but I need some volcano footage for a music video...check out the song!!

  • this is actually crakatowa's child witch is the remains of crakatowa when it erupted in 1883 witch is the biggest sound the world has ever herd since humans have been here the erruption was was great...people around crakatowa where left without able to lissen for tere whole lives... this volcanic erruption was able to be herd all the way across the world from where it was sitting to united states and south america....

  • great fottage..l lucky lucky lucky

  • yeah I heard of the 1883 eruption. It was the most powerfulest event that happen to earth while in earth (meaning that anything from outside of earth doesnt count)

  • @DarkMark04

Actually, Anak is Indonesian for 'child'. Coincidentally, Krakatoa is in Indonesia. It's really quite far indeed from the Phiippines. You ignorant pig.

  • @rcooke1977

It is not a coincidence that (Anak) Krakatoa is in Indonesia. It just is! No more a coincidence than that Mnt Pinatubo is in the Philippines.

Anak is indeed Indonesian for 'child', just as it is in Malay and Filipino (ask Freddy Aquilar)

  • you have to be crazy to be that close.. this was one of the most destructive volcano in history next to yellowstone. they said the eruption was so loud it destroyed the hearing of people miles away!

  • Wow, how far away are you guys from the island in this video it looks like you're way too close.

  • OMG please not explode.......

  • 0:00 - 0:15 was cool! i would love to see a real life volcano erupting in front me.. but of cos, at a safer zone.

  • yap..and will make Tsunami... it will

  • you guys are brave

  • were you guys ok when you capsized? what awsome footage.

  • just why didn't you cover the mic from the blowing wind with your handor something, that sound is horrible

  • hasnt krakatoe blown up now is it the real one

  • Lmao I wouldn't have stood there and filmed it like u I wouldve got my ass outta there

  • is this volcano capable of its fathers job in 1883?

  • This is Anak Krakatoa, a volcano born after destruction of its "father" in 1883 eruption.

  • rcooke1977 where did u record this at?

  • Impressive! I wish you had a clip of the shock wave hitting your boat. I bet it was like those Pacific atomic blast testing on retired ships.

  • get out of there guys, like seriously i would be getting away as fast as i can! then again, im not so daring as you guys, lol

  • and krakatoa is more dangoures cuz krakatoa is one of the top 10 deadliest volcanoes in history

  • so calm

  • FASCINATING video--what a thrill to be able to witness this, even at second hand! And what a bizarre sound it emits--sounds rather like static, or a plastic flag flapping in a very high breeze.

  • Wouldnt start gettinge "excited" about karkatoa errupting again - terrified and run for your life is more what id be shouting

  • one day in the future...this mountain will be erupt once again with a bigger power than the one in 1883

  • woah da 1883 krakatoa eruption u could hear from 38,000 miles its in guiness world book of records 2010 so u sayin da future one will be louder DAMN! dat will be huge

  • Lucky you are to see that in live

  • this isnt krakatoa it happened in 1883?

  • @Jasonisevil784

It is Anak Krakatoa, like i said.

Anak means 'child', it is the continuation of the activity that destroyed the preceeding volcano on the same spot in 1883.

  • @rcooke1977 I know i didnt know that before haha

  • @rcooke1977 anak is a filipino word

  • @Jasonisevil784 I saw it on a sumatra tsunami documentry as of comparing the amount of power the 2 had.

  • @Jasonisevil784 Dude, ya think that there were video camras back in 1883? Besides, color TV didnt come out until 1963.

  • cool i like this video

  • amazing Video

  • amazing video

  • very impressive...

  • Aug '09. It's due for a major eruption on November the 13th. You can tell by the shape.
