@chatrkat Great that they have a new Holiday Inn! The crowd there in August is something else... I have a little further distance to go but well worth it IMHO. Thanks for stopping by!
@tdadieselpower1 Can't find my copy of the manual right now but these engines ran under load at speeds much lower then the ide speed of today's modern automobile. (under 900 rpm)
Good point, I noticed that too. I am still working on my "filming' skills... It is not as easy as it seems. Being able to hear these engines run is important.
Thanks for the video - very nice engine!

Torquey 25 hp i bet. What fuel? Reid valves?
JaxxBat 9 months ago
@JaxxBat Running on propane - not too sure about the valves...
Hallaran 9 months ago
It is using propane, Reid is the engine name - not sure what kind of valves it uses.
Hallaran 9 months ago
It has no valves that I know of- it's a 2-stroke engine with a scavenge pump.

This is a two-stroke engine with forced scavenge; a scavenge pump is mounted on the side of the cylinder.

Yes the design is interesting on this...
