If the alarm goes off in my house and we shut it off and climb back into bed until we're awake, my little 7 month old cats up on the bed. She'll stare at me until I open my eyes, and if i close them again she'll gently bite my nose to wake me up. Usually she just stares at my boyfriend cause she knows he'll push her off the bed in his half asleep state. Kitty thinks the snooze button is bull...

This is so stinking cute. It reminds me of Stewie in family guy on one episode"Mom, mom...mama....mommy ....mom...mom....mom" .. I can so picture your cat saying that, haha. My old cat (rip:( ) used to slowly climb on my back and drag his crooked teeth against my arm to wake me up.. it was SO cute.. One of the boys I have now leaps on my back,tries to dig his way through my arm, and if that fails he starts biting me. He's less than gentle :P

My first cat, Wow used to lick my face to get me up. My current cat, Gateaux just makes a lot of noise and jumps up and down on my bed to get me up - usually results in my evicting her from the room, though she makes a lot of noise on the landing and scratches at the door - ultimately, the little horror wins, you gotta love 'em though.

My mom had a cat that would wake her up every morning like that and then she would get out of bed, he'd go to the edge of the bed while she got her housecoat on, and wait. My mom would then hold out her arms, and he say Mom (I shit you not, this cat actually talked!) and would climb up my mom and give her a hug and then kiss on the cheek and she'd carry him into the kitchen. My mom misses him horribly.
