  • what's the name of the music in the background?

  • @MJTfilmz the music is the original music from the movie. Written by Dimitri Tiomkin. The song 'Do Not Forsake Me, Oh My Darling' was sung by Tex Ritter, father of John Ritter.

  • I LOVE how his sheriff's badge rolls over to 0000 kills. brilliant touch

  • Really well made and funny. I laughed my ass off, especially because I helped my wife write an essay about "High Noon" a few weeks ago. We saw the movie over and over again.

  • Oh, for cryin' out loud. Damned fine funny stuff. Beam me to hellangone outta here, Tex.

  • Absolutely fantastic!

  • The digital pendulum clock?

    Pure. Genius.

  • Also, the ion cannon control.

  • Hahahaha Brilliant!! Even Gary Cooper's voice sounds very much like his!!

  • This is hilarious! A clever twist on an old warhorse,my favorite western of all time. And a good satire on these modern over-produced,CGI laden flicks with inane dialogue!

  • awesome! reminds me of "knights of cydonia"

  • I usually find it disrespectful when a classic movie is made fun of, but this was very creative. If Gary Cooper and Grace Kelley were still with us, they would love this.

  • Oh..They would DEFINITELY love this!

  • this one is really well made

  • i love the last line of the song "until i shoot frank miller dead" lol

  • Haha funny!

  • Clever, but it just makes me want to watch the original again. You can't beat that.

  • Great work!

  • This was pretty spiffy! Good job.

  • great.

  • Very well done.

  • Heh - VERY cool indeed! Thanks for this!

  • This was very well done. I hope some of the viewers rent the original movie because it talks about courage in a time of crisis and 'doing the right thing' instead of just the easy thing, even if no one thinks you can (Yes, we can) or if no one else thinks the surge is right.

  • excellent job!!!

  • That was very cool! I love the way you did the visual effects in black and white

  • Excellent work !!!

  • Fabulous! Just fabulous! I got a big kick out of it, being a western fan. What a fantastic sense of humor you've got, and I admire your great job!

  • is there any more stuff like this ?

  • The right level of respect for the original; a consistent use of surprise throughout. Well done!

  • This was cool. VERY cool!

  • THIS is why youtube exists!

  • Gee, we should add special effects to ALL the old movies. Then they'd be cool again! ;D

  • /agree

  • Brilliant :D

  • that was good, nice ass soudneffects

  • Great, great and again: GREAT! I loughed 1/4 of an hour on the "kwaking" guns

  • Very good. I like it very much.

  • I don't care what John Wayne says, High Noon was a better film than any of the pulp he churned out. And this, this is definately worthy of a fave. I particularly like how the dialogue was simply a modified version of the original.

  • Great stuff. Better than Outland! High Noon is aces!

  • Absolutely amazing! Very well done, and a lot of fun to watch.

  • And it's funny how there is another tin star already on the floor when he throws his.

  • Hhaahahahhahahahah I just watched High Noon in class for the 2nd time then I see this. Good work! I like it hahah very well done.

  • ... maybe a frame by frame edit of the guns would be nice ^^ HIGH TECH NOON-redux,well great work ... nothing more to say about that

  • God, there's always some asshole like "firglihp" leaving a comment, isn't there? Bet it's never done a bloody thing in its life. And I just bet it's an American smartarse to boot.

  • That ruled! Encore!

  • The voices were a tad cheesy, but that added to the comicalness...however they were synced perfectly

  • very funny. but Mr Lucas... please keep the old one out as well.

  • Hmmm. I don't see anything by firglihp anywhere on this site. "Just sayin"

  • FLaWLeSS...LoVe it!!!

  • Meh. Come on. This could have been easily made in 1971 at any college in California. A kid with a copy of this scene could have taken the time to simply scratch it to produce most of the effects. I've seen more imaginative things done with 18mm home movie camera stock and a safety pin.

    /just sayin

  • I'll show you what I did in 1971 with 18mm film and a safety pin. I was motion tracking digital clocks and displacement mapping holes in people.

  • I suppose asses like yourself who just hate everything creative have to spout off somewhere, but really, you should just go away.I'd be mad but this video was so great I just feel sorry for people who can't enjoy life.

  • I loved it. Great video. Make some more.

  • I wonder what Gary Cooper would think...I think he would like it....I am a classic film fanatic...this was decent...pretty smart and enjoyable...kind of funny too...good job...

  • Fabulous!

    Awesome!

    Good Job!

  • Fabulous and very, very funny.

    What was the remake, 'Outland'?

It was the one with Sean Connery.

  • Excellent from concept to execution. I see a TV format opportunity looming on the horizon.

    T

  • Awesome

  • AWESOME!

  • this is fun ^^

a mix of star wars lasergunfight and a good old western. Great Effects

  • I'd like a copy

  • Simply amazing!

    I loved this one.

The empty guns made me laugh.

    A job very well done.
