@drwhatson Then you should know this song is very memorable and is a Tom Jones signature tune. Tom Jones destroys all English speaking male vocalists in terms of voice and only comes second to James Brown in the genre because James Brown is automatically better than everyone. XD XD

He did! He used to listen to Black music--gospel, blues, R&B, jazz, soul--all on BBC radio. He was suspended from school for singing the school anthem like it was an old "Negro gospel" according to one of his biographies! He was influenced incredibly by black music. When his song, "It's Not Unusual" first played here, black radio stations played it, convinced Tom was a black man.

This is PURE Tom Jones. Bring me the man who can even close to this. Tom's performances were joked about often with regard to the panty-tossing and his body gyrations. But throught it all ... THE STERLING WELSH VOICE gave him complete crediblity and ultimate stardom. Great clip!
