This is still priceless I'm 61 and still laugh at this. I saw him live in Atlanta one time and what made it so great was my sister and her husband snuck (had to teach spell check snuck is a word)me in a night club, I was big for my age. Only 14 or15 hey man it was the 60s. He was a little raunchy but hey there wasn't supposed to be any children...Thanks Sis

My Dad used to tell his jokes with all the same sounds and inflections, tore me right the hell up. I love this guy:)

My dear mom would fall all over the place listening to this. I still remember marveling at how hard she laughed. Like the earlier poster, I could quote everything on his albums.

I was sitting here in front of the computer with my "intelligent" 5 year old grandson, Keegan, watching and listening to Ray Stevens. Then I told him of a comedian of some 50 years ago telling a story about a motorcycle and "Baby". It took me all afternoon to finally come up with his name, Brother Dave. I am listening to it right now and thanks a bunch for posting this classic. Brings back a lot of Fort Mill SC High School foolishness. Johnny

I haven't heard these stories since I was about 9 years old. My parents had all his albums. I thought this stuff was hilarious back then and it still is. This proves a person doesn't have to be rude and offensive to be funny. Love this. thanks for posting.

Thanks so much for posting this. When I was ON THE AIR I used to make little remarks mimmicking Bro. Dave and the REQUEST LINE would light up like a Christmas Tree. I would just use "one or two words". Like "I think I'll skoosh down in the buddy seat"
