I honestly don't care what the audience is doing. If it was between having the video on here or not, I would choose to have it on here, because I wouldn't have seen it otherwise. And as one of the performers said (viewmyspatula) it was meant to be comical. So the audience was fine to laugh.
I'm just going to jump in here and say (as one of the performers in this video) that this performance was meant to be fun and informal. Laughing was encouraged because it's supposed to be funny!

Okay, so I play bassoon in my high school band, and I absolutely love this song, but I stopped watching this video around a minute through it because I couldn't stand the audiences behavior. This is a musical performance by very well educated people. The bassoon is the HARDEST woodwind instrument to play and it takes a lot of dedication of time and practice to become great at it. So please, show these musicians your upmost respect. Thank you, and have a wonderful day.
