In a way, this epidsode is very out of place for me. One part of me is saying 'this is a really good episode,' while another part is saying 'this is one the worst episodes ever!' Just why did they have to kill him?! How many shows do that kind of thing (Doctor Who is different)?! Yet this was a sad and dramatic episode.

It was planned from the very beginning that Douglas Henshall would be only in three seasons of Primeval. They killed Nick Cutter off to make sure everyone understands that he will NEVER return.

His death was actually planned for a later episode, but Douglas Henshall wanted to leave Primeval as soon as possible.

Yes, because when the anomaly closes two Diictodons havent managed to go through yet. So Abby and Connor "adopt" these two Diictodons.

No, only one episode is aired per week (this monday we had the episode with the Camouflage creature). But at the german site "Maxdome" you can already watch the next episode one week before its airdate.
