It's a shame you don't get FSN Pittsburgh... Bob Errey called it a kick immediately after it happened and I thought it was a goal at first where I later saw it was indeed a distinct kick. But I do have to say; I think that the Bruins can't handle us now that we have two lines. The most recent two games, they had Big Z Chara on Malkin's line and he did a good job shutting him down. Now that Sid's back with Hoss and Dup I think they can't handle our 2 line combo. Go Pens!
I love your comment about what Garry Galley was saying about the goal the Sens had called back. I was yelling at my tv telling him he was wrong, that the intent means nothing, that if you high stick someone accidentally, it's still a penalty. And Jim Hughson is the best commentator ever I must say, the EA sports announcer :)
Exactly the same as me. I never shout at the TV (PC on this occasion anyway) but i just felt abused by Galleys constant whining! It was embarrasing to listen to!
Basically i used to play Hockey video games as a kid because i was a fan from watching my local team...anyway the basic thing is that i had this one player i liked from the game (remember that). back to reality - i heard about a fella called Mario Lemieux and decided he was God, then this favourite player of mine from the game (remember) joined the Penguins aswell...So they were my team! And now they are good!
I'm pretty sure it's just between the Caps and Flyers for round 2, but I could be wrong. After Tuesday night's game, despite my hopes for Ovie, it looks like Flyers in 5. I really don't want a matchup with them, but whatev. We'll be well rested and confident and they'll be battered. As for Ruu, he's a beast. He's already drawn, I think, 3 penalties and has been called on none. He's such a brilliant all-around threat. Love him w/ Talbot. And Hossa; we almost had to call an Amber Alert on him.
Afraid its not as simple as knowing who we play next already. The teams who remain after the first round are put into their regular season order and then 1 plays 4 and 2 plays 3. There is no way we play Montreal because if we both get through we will be 1 and 2, and we cannot play the flyers because if boston get through (knocking out Montreal) we will be no1 and thus play boston (who will be 4, since they are last seed) and if montreal win they will play the Flyers because boston will be out.
