EVERYTHING goes well with EVERYTHING...speedster is probably fastest in a straight line movement wise, acrobatics is most useful in a fighting settings due to the ability to cling to walls and attack. flyers are convenient, however in a fight they are easily grounded and are pretty much useless as a movement method other than running away with their butts faced toward you.

And I'm a melee speedster to answer your question. =]

I'd like to note that since your asking about Fire TANKING your weapon so long as it is melee isn't so important. Dealing damage with Fire is all about racking up the hits, one-handed which deals short combo burst damage wouldn't take advantage of Fiery Weapon as well as something which hits multiple times over a period such as dual-wielding or poles. For sorcery however, one-handed is a godsend combination with WoP (almost as good as rifle). I'm a one-handed sorcerer btw.

You can't use both unless you want to waste a lot of skill points you won't be able to spare early on in the game if you wish to play competently. Personally I dislike Dual-Pistols, they're useful for flyers in general and great for PvE (you'll burn through mobs), but for Sorcery PvP my experience with Dual-Pistols isn't great. I'm not saying it's bad but since I'm a speedster and pretty much grounded 99% I get targeted often. If your not getting tagged you'll be fine though.

Don't forget your also a healer as a Sorcerer, so if you are prioritizing healing (you should really consider flying as a movement method, don't have to will just make your life A LOT easier) your weapon type so long as it's ranged isn't an issue. It's hard to build as both a DPS and a healer because you won't be able to get the best of both worlds without prioritizing one or the other. So deciding to use Dual-Pistols for healing and going One-handed for DPS is totally viable.

@themastero9: I bet 10 bucks, that i'm faster at flying to a pint, than you running. In best case, you can jump from roof to roof. But no roof? You have to climb all the way back to it, to jump again. For me, the worst skill in the game. Why? Because you run oversonic and the bullets will hit you every time. Also the enemies will slow you down, if you run into them. A fight is unavoidable. At worst case, you have no chance to flee and you die instantly...

If you get two upgrades to your speed, the one to tap into the speed force and the one to change vertical motion into horizontal...Well, I'll put it this way. I ran up a building, jumped, and use it. I went so fast that the ground could not load with me, and I fell through it when I landed. My friend who use flying? He wasn't half as fast.

@gwyd619 Sometimes when you enter a dungeon (place, where there is some boss) and you go in there with speed mode, you lose the electricity, works the other way too if i remember correctly. But it returns if you take the speed mode off and on again.

I think that once a speedster hits level 9, they should be able to enter the speed force after going the fastest they can for 10 - 30 seconds. Like imagine it, you have low health and are running from a group of bruisers, Oh no, they almost caught you! But at the last second the edges of your screen turn and orangish-white, and outta nowhere your in a pocket dimension, that on exit could put you ANYWHERE in the game. HOW SWEET WOULD THAT BE!!??
