@Lemure333 The tempest and other DSI gear have solid clocks. I use Digital Performer for my main DAW but perform with Ableton Live. I haven't had any issues clocking to DP. I have however had issues with live. In my experience Live does not like to be slave to midi/sync, it drifts and loses sync over time. Running the tempest as a slave works fine though.
@carsonday303 Niiiice, thanx for this info as I am chaining and sending this to my comp, I will pick up DP and go from there... I am working on getting all of my elektron, dsi and other synths/ modular all into one big soupy spot and brewed right before I record...Just noticed that using ableton is way off and wasn't sure if I should pick up a sync-gen or not to keep all of the clocks in one...thanks for your reply Carson and 4 helping a bruvva out...peas
@Lemure333 i should mention that when I use DP im usually recording shorter sequences and not running on and on like when I play live. That said I do think ableton's clock has some issues. I haven't tried any of the innerclock stuff but would like to check it out at some point
How do you find this syncing to ableton or pro tools or any other DAW? peace and thanks for the upload;)
