and also at 2:06-2:07 make sure to point your toes on your struts. I know it near the end of the dance and your really tired, but don't forget basics!
ahhh yeah but it isn't all about doing tricks and wowwing people. it's about being a good performer and the transition steps and the emotional movements.
ya know what i noticed, all these top girls all have a jazz solo and a lyrical solo, hall of fame always favors the lyrical ones, showbiz always likes the jazz

Same here. I wish more competitions would favor tap sometimes, because it's just as expressive and beautiful as lyrical or contemporary.
