I live in Canada and I just heard someone complaining about the noise of the bag to the manager LOL!! I told her why it was "louder" and she seemed to be more receptive but people are idiots in Canada too!!
Turns out the bag only decomposes in moist, hot environments, such as a recycling center or Florida, which is basically a giant recycling center... for old people. One of these sat buried in my compost pile for over 6 months (completely intact) while everything around it had completely turned to dirt.
Tonight I got high with some friends around a bonfire and one of them passed over a bag on Sun Chips and it was the bio-degradable bag!!! They brought back a new one that wasn't too loud!!! Whew, now I can save the planet without pouring them into a bowl!
Unbelievable. I figured that must of been why they suddenly stopped carrying them. Stupidly bad decision. You have dumbass, loud losers blabbing their heads off on cell phones in stores and THIS was too loud? When are they gonna ban all the loud assholes in this overly-loud world that won't shut the fuck up? Weird.
@ridewave444 Can only second that. But sir... "must have", not "must of". I see this more and more often. Almost just as much as people misusing 'your' instead of 'you're'. Take care.
@ridewave444 The compostable bag is back and quieter. It's only available with the original flavor so support them and hopefully they'll start using the bag for all their chips.

In Canada, if you buy a bag of Sun Chips, the bag will, eventually, decompose, even if the chips won't.

if you're in a situation where the noise a chip bag makes is innapropriate, then perhaps you shouldn't be eating there in the first place
