I agree that the Miata is difficult to drift in the dry, because it has decent grip and not much power. If you're on crappy tires it's fine, but with good tires it can be difficult to maintain a drift. But in the wet like this video it's not difficult to maintain a slide. As for the car becoming "squirrely as hell" when you get sideways I have never felt that. Ok, it might take slightly faster reactions than a 240, but it's still pretty damn easy to hold sideways in the wet :)

@beechface1 i own a mk2 mx5 and i can confirm that it's a very very reliable machine , and an unbelievable joy to drive ,don't even hesitate 4 a sec to get one if you can afford the insurance of course , brilliant car !!!

its hard to drift a miata..u can get decent power slides..but those cars were basically designed to have high limits of traction..and once u break traction they get squirlly as hell.
