You break your arm even before you throw. You have to almost have your arm locked until you finish your plant step. Take all of your great potential energy that you make with your cross overs and translate that into kinetic energy through the javelin. Also, run taller during your steps. Put these two together and you'll get over 200 feet and join the club.
thanks for the advice. I know I'm doing a better job of keeping my arm back than in the past and that its something that I can continue to improve. And by the way, I have thrown over 200 a number of times, just didn't pop any out this go around.
