  • Some people simply stretch better than others. I took up Tae Kwon Do at age 20 and learned to do certain stretches and it was NO BIG DEAL, start small and slowly until you are able to do more, just like anything else in life. Those boys are not crying bloody tears from the pains of stretching, they are most likely bored to tears. All the idiots that are complaining are nothing but a bunch of pussies!

  • if someone stretched me like that, i may actually be as flexible as those girls who can do 270 degree oversplits....

  • It hurts just to watch them, but some of them are smiling.

  • @Waterlooplein1 they dont smile, they act and the ones they show here are prolly the 'lucky ones'

  • Ballet is fantastic...boy´s dancer Ballet is inacreditable,I am very impressed with the boy`s,there are the new´s"Billy Elliot",congratulations boy´s and good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • dude ballet

  • MOST PEOPLE THINK BALLET IS ALL ABOUT PRINCESS AND OUTFITS... BUT THEY DON'T KNOW THE BLOOD SWEAT PAIN AND TEARS SACRIFICED FOR IT!

  • woah!! they have better arches then some of the dancers in my dance school!!

  • Nossa não sabia que existia uma academia especializada em ballet pra meninos, meus filhos estudarão ballet lá!

  • The Russian and Asian ballet dancers rule the dancing world because they take their ballet seriously. Australian ballet dancers are known for their wonderful projection and spatial awareness, but certainly not for their, strength, flexibility and technical virtuosity. Stretching in a controlled environment with an experienced teacher can be extremely beneficial. Ballet is hard, and if you don't have teachers that aren't afraid to push you to your limits. Then you will never know how far you

  • These boys will grow up dancing a sport that involves touching and being around girls all day and using their utmost strength and ability. Football players wrestle & dry hump other guys in jockstraps just to touch balls. Now, which is the "gayer" sport? :P

  • That stretching was more easy i can put my feet behind my head more higher than this at 0:33 actualy the rest of my ballet classmates can't XDD without holding the Barre and the legs only at fifth position hand XD

  • is there any fun?

  • These boys have beautiful turn outs.

  • Ay, Dios. Y a mí me toca conformarme con el novio negrito que tengo. Doy mi alma por un angelito de éstos. Qué bebés, qué príncipes, y con todo ese talento tan bello.

  • oi

  • LOL and I thought I AM stretchable. hahahah :DDD

  • I tried hardly but I couldn't see their wings...

  • these stretches are relevent for their level they clearly love what theyre doing else they wouldnt be there! if they dont do these painful stretches it will never get better and you wouldnt be able to become a proffesional dancer!

ballet is painful im at that level now where i really must get my flexibility and strengths right because i shall soon be told weither or not i can go onto pointe!

so these kids aren't really being forced

this teacher is giving them the best start for they're career!

  • Beautiful

  • To a lot of you silly people saying that they could injure them selves, yes they could but there is a tutor who seems to know what he is doing in this video, and im sure these young boys warmed up before stretching.

  • wow i've got to do that i do bellet

  • They are not flexible!!!

  • WOW!

  • @ChocolatecakeLOL Translation is in text caption

  • god isnt that a bit too much? it hurts to watch

  • whats the peace towards the end please!!

  • please please please someone what is the piece from 0:58 !!?!? SOOO BEAUTIFUL

  • Sooo... a lot of people have different opinions on how effective this is. I respect that, but, I speak purely from experience when I say that man is pushing them just a little too far. I admit, they are flexible and will be great male ballet dancers when they are older - but this is just...not the way to get there.

  • too me this is simple too me because i been taking ballet for years =) but i can feel the pain on the boys . Poor thing.

  • lol i love stretchin in ballet class ive been dance for 10 years and i still love dancin!!

  • There gunna be amazing when there older

  • The captioning on the left is annoying. Anyway, yes the stretching is very painful even for an adults. It is never too late to practice. A chinese man first tried at 40 years old and now he is very flexible even back bend and he is over 60 years old now. It is never too late. AMAZING! Practicing harder is a key!

  • Is this vaganova?

  • i understand what he is saying it is in russian :)

  • I know kids can stretch by far that grown ups, can older male ballet dancers, let say 25 or 30 year old do that?

  • i would love for him to be my instructor

  • This is really INSANE .... Russia is known by acting this way... most of the best ballet dancers of XX and XXI century are from there, they look for perfection, and I agree with that.... it's classical, you betta work it and push it harder and harder when you are young and your muscles are not toned yet, after all of this I can say 60% of the pain is gone when you reach a certain age.

  • I wish we have more interest about boys ballet... maybe in another life. I live in México :-)

  • i've recently started ballet and obviously i'm not very flexible, i find it hard to hold my leg up straight when doing these stretches... will the more i stretch increase my flexibility?

  • ouch T.T

  • In 0:09 he has someone heel in his balls!!!!!!

  • They r wayyyy more flexible than me!!! Type Jealous over here!!! Lolzx

  • I didn't even think that that was humanly possible.

  • Well they won't regret stretching in the future...

  • these kids are amazing and what they do is pure beauty...but im not sure its worth all the torcher they have to go through to be able to do it.

  • Lol that stretching Is normal xD

  • @Kibifos agreed

  • I'm sorry that you have to wade through a lot of idiotic comments. This training is effective because 1) The child is chosen to have a body to accommodate ballet's demands, 2) The teacher teaches "hands-on" because this is a tradition passed on from their teachers and it is one of the ways that students learn what is expected of their bodies as pre-professionals, 3) It's the easiest way to get the point across. These children take daily and have been primed for this type of movement.

  • @debhig ok.

  • @debhig Precisely. Besides touching de body alouds you to sense the fisical limits , active, pasive and the fisiological barrier before of this last one you wont produce an injurie

  • @debhig

    well said :)

i happen to have taken several classes with this teacher and he is amazing! so talented and so sure of how to teach.

thank you for your comment :)

  • omg u cant force people ( children) to stretch like that! you could injure ur muscle!

  • @Barbiebratzgal123 They dont have any muscles...

  • They didn't start stretching like that when they were beginners. These boys have already had years of training, and they are much more limber than they were before. To a ballet student, this isn't hard to do. The teachers know what they're doing.

  • @Barbiebratzgal123 haha then why hav generations of russian ballet dancers hav this exact stretch and not injure anything? this man is experienced and i am a boy just like them 13 years old in ballet i hav had exactly the same training as them and im fine these guys are gunna grow up to be great dancers unlike americans who think exactly wat u do and end up only in corps....pain=great dancers while being paranoid about injuring a muscle=sucky dancers that cant do splits until there 20's

  • @Barbiebratzgal123 oh my god you dont know anything about ballet...

  • @Barbiebratzgal123 - they are not going to get injured. For ballet, training begins in childhood to develop properly.

  • @Barbiebratzgal123 it's not forcing them, the body of the children is more flexible than an adult

  • @littlelucifer69 definitley!

  • @littlelucifer69 Hey now! I'm not the one making rude judgmental benighted comments about things I am too uncultured to understand. So not only are you American, you are a douchey American.

  • Comment removed

  • @Petrabi k thats great.(y)

  • damned hard work....

  • @semenzalupa ballet isa highly respected dance in Russia and is like the football/basketball of America. What there doing here is pretty much the equivalent of football camp in America, But hey your a troll I shouldn't waste my time on you.

  • @thedorkfilms we in Russia do not consider ballet to be a respectable sport for man believe ) maybe old women think it's good but not other people / and your comparison to football is funny enough because football is far more popular in Russia than ballet / but you are a troll don't know what for i spent my time on you :D

  • @semenzalupa Ballet is NOT a sport but art. And maybe this is gonna hurt you, but Russia is not represented in the world for its football players, but for its artists: Tarkovsky, Sokurov, Bolshoi Ballet, Tchaikovsky. Football is fun, but just that.

  • @semenzalupa Hmmmmmmmmm I never thought of ballet as a sport but as an art. (Not that it doesn't take athletic talent). We in America have always admired your Russian ballet stars, male and female, as the best in the world. Now, as for Putin, hahaha, I don't know what to tell you except keep your head down...trouble is coming......

  • @semenzalupa

Am I mistaken or is one of the most famous male ballet dancers from Russia? Baryshnikov? Just saying...

  • No pedo, but when they grow up they're gunna be hot ballet guys :D

  • @Londieee

Can't agree with you more.... WOW !

  • holy shit, those boys are more flexible than i am when i was their age! SO PRO!!!!

  • @EnyaTheEnzyme

    Why he is pervert?

He just helps the boys with stretching ô.O

  • ballet is now based on extension/ flexibility which is great to avoid injury but what about acting the role and musicality? First the kid should learn music (play an instrument), it would help greatly. ..still the dance world is CRAZY!!! And way too short! So kids you better love it and on your leisure time learn other things to feed your head.

  • why are all of them boys?

  • @stiffcoke because boys and girls are taught separately. Women's dance differes from men's dance dramatically, that's why the children need to develop in different ways.

  • I wish i had someone doing this to me when i was little :( it would have helped soo much.

  • Seriously, they're not smiling as a "calming-method" or because they're happy or enjoying themselves. They're smiling to practice for exams and the stage. If a dancer doesn't perform completely they'll be de-graded for it. You even see in the caption, the teacher says "what's wrong with your face?" and the boy smiles but you can tell he's straining with the effort. They're smiling because it's part of the job, not because they enjoying being mangled.

  • i would think this would be kinda bad for the boys. their bodies aren't fully developed and fortified yet and yet this dude's making them stretch into these crazy positions. might mess up their development.

  • @b28e it isn't, it's better when you are little to start ballet, because your body is still flexible, when you grow older you lose flexibility, training your flexibility from this age, makes their bodies to develop even better

  • This is amazing!

  • Im american, and im stunned by how TALENTED these boys are, there amazing, and very couragious. Not only would people in america talk about them but people from France , or Greece, will you know theyll say your gay , but DANCE , is like love to me, if your good do it, let people talk they will always talk, but in the end its only you. They look Great , AMAZING , great Job ! @Forados.

  • @MookieeThat excuse me? Flexibility has nothing to do with talent.

  • many people say ballet is gay.

    people it isn't.

if ballet is gay, the its just like saying saying rugby league is a bunch of grown men grabing and jumping on each other.

    THEY ARE BOTH NOT GAY!!!

  • @Gratatudemcfuzz well said :D

  • @TeamJacob1903 thank you :)

  • its bad game it can cut your body 10 pieces

  • is that a dancebelt that guy has or is it breefs?

  • i really (no offence) would not be attacted to a guy who was able to do this...

a male dancer...sure why not. flexible male dancer? um...

I know ill get thumbs down for saying that but again, no offence..

everyone has a little sexist in them :3

  • @NekoKaggie you can't have a male ballet dancer who isn't flexible. It's just not possible

  • @crydepunkmuffin you are a douche and you should keep your ignorant opinions to yourself.....

    just my opinion..........

  • this is amazing...total respect for those boys.

  • billyetski elliotski

  • ouch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The faces on these boys are priceless.

  • wow...

these guyz are pretty good... hardworkin too

  • this must be from russia. But what a beautiful little prince

  • These boys are afraid to cry! You can see! OMG :/ There are easier ways to learn to be more flexible!

  • such hard work and dedication

  • they're very cute.. XD

  • thanks for the subtitles :)

  • this is so cool. im training to be a contortionist and ballet stretches really help. thnx for posting

  • ¡¡¡ pocos hombres en el mundo hacen esto !!

en mi academia tenemos 20 bailarines ...

dos profesores... a los cuales les encanta bailar !!!

es un talento q impreciona cuando te pones a mirar.....

    asi q sigan adelante !!

    ¡¡¡ exitoss ... !!!

    [RYM]

  • and yet people say ballet is easy. but yes, the hard work is worth it =)

  • @sytan22 who says ballet is easy???

  • I've seen so much worst , like training for Rythmic Gymnastic , they are 10years old they are crying and trainer continue to push..

For that Its not pain , its only not comfortable. They are not on the side to cry , some have smile on the face.

  • Can anyone tell me the name of the song that plays at the end? Please! I love the piano at the end.

  • These kids are not in actual "pain". I'm a cheerleader and they used to stretch us like this. It doesn't hurt. It's uncomfortable but in the long run its very useful. Same as in ballet, gymnastics ect.

  • @cheergirl1216 um yes but i am sure you are not a boy who have been proven to be less flexible then girls and these stretches can hurt if someone is forcing you to do them!

  • @kakakatie371 You must feel at ease as if you are drinking tea in the morning

  • @cheergirl1216 lolx but cheerleading isn t compareable with ballet oO

  • @MihYtka i agree, but still, @cheergirl1216 is right, it's not 'pain', so much as it is the discomfort of a stretch. it's still not a nice feeling at all, but she's right, it is very, very different, and it's helpful, whereas pain is not at all. if these boys were feeling actual pain then it would be something to worry about. if any stretch is painful to anyone then they need to find an alternative stretch, because pain could end up seriously damaging a muscle.

  • @cheergirl1216 your right. I cheerlead too. but Ballet and Cheerleading are very different. :))

  • really and truly i wish someone would have stretched me like that when i was younger i probably would be way more flexible than i am now i know that some people would say all that stretchng looks painful but the man isn't doing it to hurt them he's doing it to help them and when they get older they will become wonderful dancers :)

  • Those boys are gonna be good!

  • i would be like really uncomfortable with that guy as my dance teacher its like...molesterrrr

  • @animelover1082 Only here in America, where male ballet dancing does NOT have a long and respected tradition in society, would a thought like that even come up. In the course of doing their job ballet masters and mistresses are literally moulding and shaping young bodies with their hands by manipulating students' limbs. And yet here they would be regarded as sexual perverts. Only in America....how sad.

  • i dare him to make me do that i promise you he will be missing some arms and legs possibly a eye watch me i will do it. * starts to get real serious * T.o

  • @360tinkerbell If you're serious about acquiring maximum flexibility and a very high level of technical proficiency, why not submit to the teacher's greater knowledge and authority? Why not just do what he says and allow him to help you get the most out of what your body can do, instead of resisting him?

  • @haidenmoore1234 ballet is just a more graceful form of dance, not feminine. the difficulty of their training takes as much strength as a football player's and if you've ever seen a male ballet dancers body, they are very muscular. so know before you speak.

  • @haidenmoore1234 ballet is just a more graceful form of dance, not feminine. the difficulty of their training takes as much strength as a football player's and if you've ever seen a male ballet dancers body, they are very muscular. so know before you speak.

  • And they bear the pain so gracefully... even through the odd smile, which I think might be a calming method. I think ballet boys are as tough or even tougher all around than footballers or rugby players.... just more graceful and gentlemen-like... ironic, I know :-)

  • ohh stretch

  • ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

  • @Balletstar1225 so obviously u kno i didnt kno that they are forced so i think u do understand...

  • Their so wonderful. =) work hardd!! its so nice to know that there are such hardworking dancers out there. =)

  • Those boys work so hard and are so strong!!!

  • Please forados, can you loaded more about this class? Thank you!!

  • @noravilla Unfortunately this is all I have. (

  • I love it!! YES!!! :D

work! That is the real life of ballet! Well done guys!

  • this teacher looks more like a nazi-experimentator - if he's such a clever guy, why doesn't he show them how high they should raise their legs - ofc in his stupid suit

  • I feel that 's too painful

  • yes it is some what painful but at that age their bodies can hand that kind of stretching as long as it is not forced suddenly and stretched gradually. the only thing I would have against it is if it is forced out of alignment.

  • yeah GREAT..... um, WONDERFUL video... =.=' these kids arent very flexible, plus i dont know what to think of that guy

  • omg, that HURTS

  • All of you are so immature. They are being stretched so hard so that they can become great ballet dancers. What they are wearing is normal for male ballet dancing. So I suggest you commenters get your facts right and actually know a little something about ballet before you can comment correctly.

  • wow, that is so cool!

  • It's so unusual for boys this age to be so poised.

  • yeah those boy SHOULD NOT wear leotards

  • @louisem0425 They are not wearing them. ) It's just sleeveless vest.

  • @louisem0425 its called a singlet

  • this old guy wants these young boys to be flexible when he takes them to his apartment for a little personal play.

  • umm do theese boys have balls? ..i think not!(: mangainaaaaa

  • This guy would be less creepy if he wasn't wearing a suit and touching them.

  • @littlelucifer69

how the fuck you wanna teach someone physical actions if you dont show them or help them on what to do,

and what else you want him to wear, a bikini?

  • @entoris476 Okay, he should be dressed in more athletic clothing because ballet is athletic. Second, I'm entitled to say that he comes across creepy by teaching ballet, a physical exercise, in a business suit. Third, I would not feel comfortable with somebody teaching my children in such an attire and disposition. Fourth, suck my balls. Have a pleasant day entoris476 :-)

  • Comment removed

  • @entoris476 My opinions on this guy have nothing to do with your father.

  • @littlelucifer69

then how about you shut the fuck up and enjoy your day :)

  • @littlelucifer69 every school has different uniforms for their students and it will deppend on the clothing for the trainer from one school to another and from one teacher to another. please respect these following choices and backgrounds of training/teaching.

  • @entoris476 what a good reply...!!

  • @entoris476 maybe a dance outfit like a leotard or warm up pants like my dance teacher

  • @littlelucifer69 He's SUPPOSED to touch them! He's their teacher! Moron. And most teachers don't wear ballet attire during class, especially if they're retired. And this teacher clearly is. God, you are such an ignorant person. I bet you're American, right?

  • this made me feel uncomfortable

  • you gotta love how ballet classes are all the same. This is so much like all the classes i've ever attended. even the comments are similar.

  • very flexible

    adore white socks

  • Ouch.

  • Well, in Russia they don't know kinesiology, they don't respect the articulations. These boys, if they keep doing that over and over, for years, they will be in trouble as adults. I say so because I was a ballet dancer...

  • This is NOT sexual at all!!These are boys who are working towards a refined art, and probably make it into a career!! Anyone who finds this sexual needs to realize that these boys have a dream!!

  • Comment removed

  • Mmmm Me likey, Lil boys stretching in those tight leotards. I'm getting an erection. OH YEAH!!!

  • @Jeffluvs80s fuck u faggot ur account is flagged hahaha want it up the ass u sexy beast

  • ouchies

  • this vid isnt sexual at all if you were ever in any sport u would noe that your instructor gets really close to you

  • tht kid looks like a pretzle

  • Perv

  • Wonderful video. Do you have a longer report? Be interested in more details.

  • ummmmmmmmmm

  • Anyone know the song that's playing at the end???

  • I have to bow my head and salute for these baby ballerinos right here. Because I'm man in ballet meself.

These fresh-faced sprouts in the studio who are doing everything within their means to make a man leaping around in pantyhose to classical music a dignified career goal and life pursuit.

We're still fightin' strong. There's a revolution for the boys to have a place in ballet--even the soldiers still in pediatrics.

    Don't stop...

--Your brother in arms and tights, Dane Youssef

  • Anyone knows the name of the piano songs playing at the end???

  • wow thats amazing. the thing is, the kids shouldnt be forced and in pain. stretching should be relaxing. its okay to push, but not too hard or else they'll lose interest and wont enjoy it for the
