500 dollar projector is probably for your power points and not the BluRay movies. Screens cost a lot too depending on the size and if its fixed or not. And a comfortable theater seat that reclines would cost around 600 each, just multiple by how many you want.

try epson 720phd. It works great for me and with games. no slow downs.

all your tv show are in 720p only blueray is 1080p but my blueray moives still look great . try epson 720 i love this projector.

im trying to turn my bedroom to a mini theater setup. ive got polk audio speakers and tomorrow ill have a 42in panasonic viera plasma. ive also got theater seats.they are red with nice cupholders. i have a ps3.direct tv hd box. pretty much it i guess. cant wait to have it setup all nice and pretty.

Wow, who cares how big! It all depends on the room size and what you can achieve within the room as there are boundaries, there is no unlimited space to play around with. My screen is only 6 feet 2 wide and Im happy with that size as it fits nicely, within the restricted 10 feet wide 15 feet long 7 feet height. The matching LCR least the L/R cant be too close to the walls!
