  • Jevon, I am glad that you are proud of your heritage. Not like some people who like to pretend they are not from Guyana or the W.I.

  • sup homie i fully support in what you're doing cause what you say is so true there's not much representation of our cuisine and trini to d bone man keep it real

  • Came across you while messing around on my phone because I couldn't sleep. Here it is almost 530 in the morning, and I'm still watching. You really have a talent for cooking on camera. Please tell me you've thought about taking this further. I think you'd be huge! Thanks for making the last hour or so super enjoyable!! :)

  • btw meant to say, I post some cuban cooking videos as well, I think a lot of Carribbean cooking is similar and interchangable.

  • I whole-heartedly agree with that comment!!! I also believe we have some of the best cuisine in the world due to the simple fact that so many cultures have passed through the caribbean over time and have left a mark in one shape or another and we put our personal touches on them and from there we all helped to evolve it into all new cuisines.

  • Thank you for your channel, I made your version of chicken stew yesterday and my family LOVED it. I made your macoroni pie and that was a hit as well. I am Cuban and in florida and we have Trinidadian friends as well as Indian/Jamican friends.

I look forward to more videos from you.

  • thank you for your channel!!! i'm from trinidad, born there and moved to the states when i was 6. now living away from home and have for many years, but am now really only starting to get into the cooking. when i cook some of these dishes, it's as if i'm with my family again. your dishes are banging - they remind me of my mom's!!! thanks for the callaloo recipe. please, please post more. curry chicken, stew chicken, just like my mom makes. makes me happy to even see it :o)

  • its always good getting to know the people behind the camera because not very many people try to let people know how they are these days! keep up the cooking vids! i love to cook and love the insight!

  • High five for this... I've been telling people this for years..I'm not of trini decent but I've got that island blood running through me.. born in fl, raise in the virgin islands by an antigua /monsterrat/ kittitan flava mixed.. caribbean food alone tells a story! (sorry I LOVE my culture)

  • Thank you for taking the initiative in posting Trini cuisine on Youtube!!! You mentioned mean doubles, mean pholourie and mean roti, so I guess you will be showing us your skillz with regards to these dishes.
