@zcg3 no certificate, but my dad always told me once you do 10,000 hours of anything, your good at it, so im pretty good at breathing now, cool stuff huh?
Ever have any crashes or near crashes in those 5200 hours? I gotta believe there were a few times where you had to clean your pants afterwards? Congrats friend!
I have to bash the Kings every chance I get... their earliest videos were such crap that I have never forgotten how lousy they were since I was a student... I'm still amazed that they made enough money to get out of the 90's without having to resort to bank robbery to finance their crap... and yes, they are better now, but anyone who started off that crappy deserves to have failed miserably...
I guess they didn't BMWMarv. It's always funny to me how, if you remain consistent and don't give up on your dreams, eventually you will succeed. Good job John and Martha King.
the Assistant Cheif FI at my last place of employment (Europe-American Aviation) had over 7,000 hours Dual Given and nearly 10,000+ hours TT.
I new pilot who had 22,000 hours in just the 20 series Lears and he stopped recording 5 or six years before the unfourtunate crash in N997TD. (he was also on the original flight crew for Federal Express on the Falcon 10)
My current captain on the C550 has nearly 15,000 hours TT.
oops, I see some people gave me minuses for the las comment. Come on guys, don't you think Martha is scary?? LOL! A buddy of mine (who is an airline pilot right now) said that he would love to put her in a cage and poke her with a stick. LOL!!!! That guy cracked me up! LOL< sorry if I offended anyone.
GrantC83 what do YOU do or what are you good at? maybe nothing other than drinking beer or having kids with your fat wife, still paying for that HDtv or that Ford truck!
what would YOU make a video about? think about that!
Also a thought, not everyone who is a CFI with tons of hours wants to fly the big iron. Some are doctors, lawyers.. or some plain love instructing. Some have already done the airline thing and returned to instuction simply for the joy of teaching. Some own their own flight schools, where one might make more money than an FO. So for many pilots who enjoy teaching, have families, lack of ambition doesn't come into play.
I find it weird that your all boasting about your flight instructors high amount of hours.. Not that Id be worried but with that much hours and still instructing.. they are not very ambitious.. since were bragging.. my FI left 2 years ago and is flying for Air Canada now... anyways... just a thought. good vid...

Here's the deal all you guys. Yea it isn't much, but I'm not a professional pilot per say. I did get my COM SEL and COM MEL last summer with the help from my GOOD friends at KING SCHOOL's DVD study program.
