I used that red liner tape called Terric Tacky Tape. Stampin Up sells one too called Sticky Strip I think, It's really strong and will hold stuff together. The album is a hard cover business journal. Not leather or anything fancy.
Great gift ideas...one of my goals this year is to work on gifts like these throughout the year so I can actually have them ready in time for Christmas =)
